Lemira knew Timothy's family wasn't well-off. Besides training at the base, he worked part-time jobs to cover his living expenses.

"About two months."

"That's impressive. Boxing isn't easy, and it requires attention to detail. Whoever's been teaching you must be really good."

Lemira thought of Orion. He'd been teaching her all along, and her expression turned a bit distant. "Let's continue."

Her mind was filled with thoughts of Orion.

As they continued sparring, Lemira got distracted and didn't notice Timothy's punch coming her way. She took the hit.
