Asher, however, looked directly at Lemira. “I suggest you sever ties with Maple Group sooner rather than later, before the company goes bankrupt and you’re saddled with a mountain of debt.”

He knew Lemira owned shares in Maple Group.

Lemira’s lips curled into a cold smirk. “I’ll return that sentiment right back to you. Don’t get into bed with a company that has a shady background.”
