She changed jackets, put on a wig and a hat, and headed right for the underground parking garage.

A car was already waiting for her. Lemira got in and left at once.

She finally let out a breath of relief as Orion called again. “I’m still not sure who sent them,” she reported.

If Sophia hadn’t shown up to see her today, Lemira would have assumed it was someone from the Langston family. But now, she wasn’t so sure.

Most likely, Sophia still hadn't given up. As long as Mrs. Amelia remained missing, the Sinclair family would always suspect the Langston family.

Orion’s low voice sounded on the line, “I’ll have someone look into it. Just get over here for now.”

“Alright.”

After hanging up, Lemira watched the scenery slip by outside the window.
