She was in high spirits. "You've all improved drastically. I know this team is going to make it far."

"That's our Captain for you. Absolutely untouchable."

After wrapping up the session, Lemira pulled Timothy into the private office.

She looked at him seriously. "I want you to officially take over as Captain. I'm going to be incredibly busy moving forward, and I won't have the time or focus this team deserves."

"Is it because of what's happening with your family?"

Lemira nodded. "Yes. You've been doing the job perfectly anyway. If you take the title officially, you'll have a much better shot at being scouted for the national team."

"Are you giving up on going pro?"

Lemira smiled softly. "No, I still want it. But I have to finish this war first. I'm going to be delayed, and I refuse to let my baggage drag your career down."
