Green dress. Silver jewelries. Chrome heels.
All his choice—yet they summed up to make stunning a word too stingy to use on me.
I pressed my lips together, blending the cherry lipstick, then misted Chanel Coco along my throat—Void insisted I wore it.
I was…happy. Ridiculous, fizzy happy. For once I wasn't 'entirely' terrified of Void, and that treacherous peace felt like a soft place to land.
He'd melted into my parents in forty-eight hours like he'd grown up at our table. This morning, he even drove out to play gulf with dad. Mum was always wanting to serve him his favorite meals, make him feel comfortable, and crack jokes even at my expense.
She even spent a ridiculous amount of time in his room this afternoon. I'd asked them separately what they discussed, but neither would tell me. My money said it was about me. She was probably telling him not to hurt me and stuff.
My heels clicked as I left my room, ready to join the party. Right at the door, I met the handsome devil who very well knew how to charm people. He was wearing a black suit that went well with his personality.
"Hm." I flashed him a teasing look. "Someone's looking good."
He didn't look like he'd come to play. I gasped when his hand roughly grabbed mine, tugging me toward himself.
"What're you—" My voice shrunk into a gasp when he shoved me to hit the wall, bracketing a palm around my throat. Fortunately, he didn't press hard enough to make me choke.
"You have three options." His voice was unnervingly even, his eyes arctic-flat. "Thirty with the cane. An anal session. Or you walk into that party with a leash around your throat."
My eyes blew wide; my heart spiked like it had been napping a minute ago and woke to a fire alarm.
"Void—"
"Mercy isn't on the menu, Green. Pick one."
"Please! This is not the time for this. I—I haven't even done anything."
My gaze ricocheted down the corridor. God, anyone could turn the corner. Shame prickled my skin.
"I told you to fucking ignore him." A flint of violence lit behind his calm. "Do you want him dead, Rali?"
Realization dawned on me. Oh my God, he was referring to Aaron.
"Aaron is an old friend! H—he was just giving me some fresh produce from his farm."
"Like I give a damn!" His fingers tightened on my throat. Fuck.
I squeezed my eyes shut, waited for the pressure to ebb. Thankfully It did.
"You should know by now, Void, I can't flirt with other men. Not when you're around."
"Hmm. So, you'd flirt if I'm not."
"What? Of course, not!" My face folded. "I can't flirt because—" The words felt heavier than my dress. "—because you're enough." It came out small, true, and terrifying.
Something warm cracked the ice at the edges of his gaze. His lips gave up a half-smile as his thumb stroked the jump of my pulse.
"Getting clever with your mouth." His voice was more honeyed. His look dropped to my lipstick then back. "But you still have to choose, Rali. I don't care if you flirting with them or not. You don't talk to anyone with a dick."
Soft-footed fear waltzed into my heart. Shit. Okay, maybe I should've taken him more seriously when he'd texted me to walk away from Aaron a while ago.
His tone dropped an octave. "Pick, Rali."
"Void, please—"
"If you don't choose, I'll stack them." His smile didn't reach his eyes. "All three."
My knees dipped.
Well, I wasn't sure I'd survive thirty stripes from him, and I definitely didn't want to walk out there with a leash around my neck. He wouldn't care, but my reputation would be on the line.
"A—Anal."
"No tears, Green," he warned. "You smudge that pretty makeup, I'll put my leash on."
Shit. I chomped down hard on my lip, doing all I could to shoot the tears back to the ocean they came from.
He fucked me mercilessly, though he kept to his word and really kept it short.
He didn't finish before he pulled out and spun me around.
"On your knees." The demand came rough, his fist stroking his cock.
I already knew what was coming before I sank to my knees and parted my lips. I was eager to get done with this before someone saw us.
I could read the 'good girl' behind his eyes. He brought his cock to my lips, made sure the swollen head was right on my tongue, and then spilled deep into my throat.
He tipped his head back, a low satisfying growl escaping him. He shook himself once, twice, against my tongue before tucking himself away while I swallowed every drop of him.
Holy hell.
My chest burned like I'd swallowed a match as I pushed to my feet. Somehow the bastard had managed to ruin nothing—not even a curl of my hair was out of place. I still looked perfect despite feeling wrecked.
He reached to smooth my dress and I slapped his arm away.
"Don't touch me. Asshole."
His laugh followed me as I started walking ahead.
"Bold talk with my cum still running down your throat."
As if the universe couldn't be any more of a jerk, my heels snagged. I caught the wall, steadied, hissed a curse through my teeth, and kept moving.
Of course, the devil laughed behind me.
