Charlotte had originally made plans to go out that day, but she had felt a little ill in the morning. She had ultimately decided to cancel her plans in favor of having some alone time at home, wanting to spend the day reading and listening to music.

The weather outside was unusually cold, but she had turned on the heater in the house. Feeling a little hot, Charlotte removed her jacket, which in turn led Jack to notice the beautiful figure that had been hidden beneath the jacket.

Charlotte was only wearing a thin top with spaghetti straps. The fabric of the top was so thin that Jack could even vaguely see the lacy, pink bra that she was wearing, as well as her cute belly button. Her current appearance was a perfect blend of cute and sexy.

Furthermore, her pants were extremely short and could even be considered to be hotpants. Paired together with her pale and sexy legs, Jack found himself unable to tear his eyes away from the alluring sight.

With the way Charlotte was dressed, coupled with her beautiful looks, she was practically trying to seduce Jack.

Charlotte stretched and tossed her long hair over her shoulder. When she turned her head, she noticed Jack's unwavering stare.

Her expression twisted as she exclaimed, "You pervert! What do you think you're looking at? You haven't gotten your fill yet? I haven't even punished you for your wrongdoings from last time!"

Jack was snapped out of his daze by Charlotte's admonishment. He hurriedly averted his gaze while recalling the flirtatious atmosphere he had found himself in with her the last time he had visited the Grant Estate.

Charlotte seemed to be recalling the same incident from the way her face flushed pink. She said, "If there's nothing else, you can wait for Dad in the study. He heard that you're a fan of books like 'Das Kapital' so he prepared similar books for you."

Jack had no doubt that Charlotte was trying to get rid of him, so he nodded and made his way toward the study on the second floor.

The study was brightly lit and tidy. It seemed that there were even more books stuffed into the bookcases compared to the last time Jack had dropped by.

He walked over to one of the bookcases and selected one at random, pulling out "The Financial War". He became engrossed in its contents once he began reading it.

A delicious scent wafted into his nose a while later. Charlotte had entered the study, a steaming hot cup of coffee in her hand. She strolled over to where Jack was and offered the cup to him.

"Here, this is for you."

He had to admit that she was incredibly gorgeous. Her beauty was further enhanced by the spaghetti-strapped top that she wore that showed off her pale skin and flawless figure.

Her long hair spilled past her shoulders, adding to her attractiveness. Her bright eyes were completely focused on the pages of "The Fleeting Nature of Time", and her plush but small lips were pursed, making her look exceptionally cute.

She was an absolute beauty—an absolute beauty whose looks surpassed a mere mortal's.

"Are you done staring?"

Charlotte's irritated voice reverberated in Jack's ears just as he began to get drunk on her beautiful appearance.
