Quintis knew full well that Jack was just making an excuse to go after Wilhelmina, and he agreed readily, "Okay, don't wander too far."

Jack then walked over to Trent and offered a polite nod.

Trent easily guessed Jack's true intentions but made no effort to stop him. In fact, he smiled and said, "Go ahead. If you have the time, please keep my daughter company."
