Sunny, already tipsy, was dragged into the room. She was mumbling my name, her voice slurring.
“What a perfect match, this dog and his bitch," Jay sneered. "Look at her, all messed up, still calling out for you.”
“Cameras ready? Get their faces in the shot!”
The cameraman hesitated. "But, uh, the guy's not doing anything yet."
Jay slapped my face. "What's the rush? That drink I spiked had enough to knock a horse out. He can hold it for now, but wait and see how long he can hold out!"
He went to unbutton Sunny’s dress.
"Jay, you're going to regret this. She's the daughter of Bennett Corporation!" I shouted.
Jay had only recently returned to the country. He didn’t know the new faces in the scene. Besides, the party hadn’t even officially started yet. Sunny hadn’t even graced the stage yet.
He laughed, dismissing my warning. “Bennett’s daughter? Casey, you’re delusional. You're so full of yourself. A girl like Sunny would never go for a divorced guy like you!”
He motioned to his goons. "Get her. Strip her naked! Let her learn her lesson for falling for you.”
The door burst open.
Sunny’s father stormed in, his face furious. He kicked Jay, sending him sprawling across the room. The cameraman and his crew weren't spared either.
“Anyone who touches my daughter will pay dearly!”
Jay, holding his bloody nose, was dumbfounded. “What? She’s actually the Bennett Corporation heiress?”
“Mr. Bennett, I’ll take care of this. You take Sunny and get out of here,” I said, my voice steady.
After they left, I tied Jay up, then took my glass of champagne and poured it down his throat.
He struggled, screaming, begging me to stop. But I was filled with rage. I would make him pay for what he did to Sunny.
