"Fine," I knew he would be incredibly angry, but at the same time, I wanted to see him. I pushed myself up and wiped down my pants. I walked outside of the cell door and 4 guards flanked me as we walked down the hall. "Can't believe that he would make 4 massive mountains to follow me when I can't even leave anywhere without an alarm going off."
The guards chuckled, but still continued to guide me towards a large room. When we finally went into the room, I gasped at how large it was. The ceiling looked like it went on forever and the whole room was covered in dark grey stone. There were no windows, but the room was surprisingly still bright. A large table was in front of 3 large chairs, the middle one on a pedestal. There was a plank in the middle which had restraints and a guard tied me to it. He tightened the restraints on my ankles and sat me up.
"He'll be here in a few seconds, luna," he then leaned in closer and whispered in my ear. "Might not want to make him angry. He almost blew up the whole house when he found out you were gone." Guiltiness filled my heart as I thought about how he must've felt when I left with another man.
I saw Nate walk in, along with his beta, and 2 men who were probably his delta and gamma. He took a glance at me, and I could see the anger and disappointment in his eyes as he made eye contact with me. After they all sat down, they all looked towards Nate, waiting for their alpha to make the first move.
"Sera Carson, you have been accused of abandoning your pack and leaving the territory without permission. Do you plead guilty?" Nate looked at me as he questioned me.
"Yes," I looked down at my legs and cringed. I was embarrassed, and it was all my fault. I shouldn't have tried to leave, I'm an idiot, and I will listen to what Nate says from now on. I didn't exactly want to enjoy his company, considering the fact that he had made out with another girl a few days ago, but I wanted to see him happy.
"Well, because of these charges, you will have to stay in lock down until I say," Nate declared. "Another infraction will make me make you wear a collar and stay in a cell." He then waved his beta, delta, and gamma off, and once they left, he walked up to me.
"Nate I-"
"Shh," he cut me off. "You've been a bad, bad girl." He stroked my cheek and looked down at me.
"Nate," I finally remembered what I should've asked him. "Where's Dylan? Is he getting punished or...?"
"The rogue," Nate had a disgusted look on his face. "He was executed."
Nate's POV
I looked down at the pathetic excuse of a man as I punched him repeatedly in his face. I didn't hesitate to make the decision to execute him when I got my hands on him. He had tried to take my mate away from me, and he would be punished.
As my eyes slowly turned to black as my wolf took over, I ripped out a part of his neck and the blood sprayed over me. A malicious grin spread on my face as I realized that he had stopped breathing and would never wake up again.
"Stop," he held me tightly so I would stop moving. "I tried to be nice, you tried to leave me with him, so he died. This is how I will act every time you try to do something against my wishes."
"I hate you!" I slapped him once across his face. The sound resonated through the room and Nate stopped walking once I did it.
"You hate me, yes," he nodded. "But now you will be with me forever." He continued to walk as I broke down into tears again.
"You can keep me next to you until I die," I whispered as he opened the bedroom door and set me down on the large bed. "But I will never love you."
"See you later darling," he stroked my face with sadness in his eyes. "Don't try to escape."
He walked out of the room and clicked the door's lock closed. Once he left, I cried. Dylan had been a part of my life for so long, I couldn't accept the fact that he was gone.
