"Mom, we need you to invest in our new business idea and we will be grateful if you allow us do this by ourself." I explained knowing how Ameer and mom can be with their conversations.
"What business idea sweetie?" she requested giving us her undivided attention.
We explained what we wanted to do to her and those we had on board already even when we don't know what is needed yet but we might need her funds also, she listened to us attentively not losing the pride in her eyes and the smile on her lips.
"I know I tell you this a lot but I can never tell you enough, I am proud to call you, my babies?" She said dabbing the tears that keeps falling from her eyes.
"Females, you can never understand them. We are expecting you to go all mother hen mode but here you are crying." Ameer commented with a sigh as he relaxed on his seat.
"I am just too happy sweetie," Mom responded to him.
"Happy tears," I input making Ameer look at me and shake his head in amusement.
"So, how much is needed and can I help out with the interiors?" She questioned after drying her tears.
"We aren't certain yet, but once we've made the appropriate calls and our budget. We will let you know and yes, you can help out with the budget mom." I replied him.
"And we are off, school week starts tomorrow." Ameer said rising from his previous position and I followed behind him.
"That material will be nice for a jumpsuit," I said pointing to a beautiful glittery material resting in a hanger looking abandoned.
My twin and I walked out of the basement made our way to my room, where we sat and made list of what will be needed for our restaurants and googled searched chefs also.
Monday morning came earlier than expected, after my morning hygiene routine I decided to put on a baby blue skinny jean, a long sleeve cream round neck top and paired it up with a black ankle boot. I put my hair into a tight ponytail, I sat in front of the mirror looking at my tired self I sigh and used make-up to cover up the black bags under my eyes.
I have been having sleepless nights for days now and the nightmares feels real but I can't remember ever been through them, I wake up every night after the unknown memory and it keeps me up all night even when I try taking sleeping pills I still go through same torture, I stay up in fear of going through the nightmare again. I don't want to tell anyone about them because I feel something huge is been hidden from me.
I picked up my backpack made my way out to the kitchen; I felt a sharp headache accompany my tiredness as I was about to take the last flight of stairs that leads to the living room. I will be needing some painkillers with a cup of coffee to survive the day, I take a tight grip on the stairs railings after feeling a little relieve I made my way downstairs to see Lorenzo and Ameer talking while Ameer has his breakfast, not having the strength to eat anything I go into the kitchen to make myself a cup of coffee added few cubes of sugar and little cream, I swallowed the painkillers using a glass of mango juice.
