Isabella had always suspected Natalie. The only reason Natalie hadn’t gotten the chance to hurt her again was because, after coming back, Isabella had kept her distance. She had no real evidence, nothing to prove it was Natalie. All she could do was stay away from her and leave Ethan behind. Maybe that was the only way to change her fate.

His grandmother had her suspicions about Sophia, but his mother always defended her. Ethan himself used to think Sophia was just a little reckless, not actually bad. But after today, he realized he didn’t have it in him to defend Sophia anymore.
