Chapter 1899: Planning Phase 2 (Part 2)

Even after a few years, broat cars would likely still be relevant because there would still be places with rough roads—like in farms—people would have to go to.

Alterra’s farms weren’t small even as a village, let alone now that it was a town with several times more land area. If one were to look at the overall layout of Alterra, the total land the farmlands took up would probably be bigger than the area of a level 3 village. 𝙛𝒓𝓮𝙚𝔀𝒆𝒃𝓷𝒐𝓿𝙚𝓵.𝙘𝒐𝒎

They had also been training the broats like horses, so that their people could ride them if they wanted to go elsewhere, but not spend much energy.

They’d probably be useful as mounts only for individuals below level 15, though, as people beyond that level would be faster on their own with not much energy differences.

That said, even in Town’s, level 15-20 was a cap for many individuals in their lifetimes. There were only so many monsters past level 20, and they were insanely strong compared to humans of their level, making it difficult to level up unless one spent most of the day hunting for them.

Outside of Alterra, where potions and equipment were relatively affordable, and individuals had savings to stock up, leveling up past 20 was something very, very difficult to achieve.

Regardless, beasts of labor would be needed, plus the female boats were their source of milk, so the animals would definitely remain a mainstay in their territory for generations to come.

There were also plans for massive developments. Large plots of land for things like theme parks, large water parks, et cetera, were also provided. The former was provisioned since there was still a huge amount of machinery and power sources to fix, while the latter would take a while to perfect but would definitely be doable within the next year or two.

Large water parks would need a lot of pumps, filters, and so on, and the development of machines that could handle the power needed for them was in progress.

There were even proposals to build cable cars in the future. For example, one that’d go from a park to a viewing deck of sorts. This was still a very distant dream, of course, for some people who wanted all the luxuries of Terran back to Xeno.

That said, even for this theoretical cable car, they didn’t consider placing it above the current paths. They didn’t want people to have an overarching view of potentially sensitive places, after all.

At best, it has to be over parks, minor commercial areas, and so on.

Speaking of parks, another large park in development was going to be a wildlife reserve for their Terran animals.

The habitat they had now was a bit restrictive, and the new one should be able to allow the animals to roam free, whether they become battle pets or not.

Not to mention, they also found quite a few new Terran animals since they had consolidated the entire region.

Basically, the animals arrived in the same region. It was just that they had much higher survival instincts, so even if very few survived the initial transformation. Nearly all Terran animals perished under the energy (at least it was a swift, painless death), but the ones that did survive were all pretty much alive.

Those who found the animals naturally had the priority to bond wth the animals and turn them into battle pets.

There were very few who had made bonds on their own, and if they failed to bond with anyone within a month, Alterra requested the animals in exchange for contribution points.
