Alpha Love novel Chapter 8

"What did you do to Brody?" Jason ask pulling me to the side, pushing me to the wall as I glare at him.

"What? Nothing." I snatch my arm away from Jason.

"You did something because he's stuck in his office pissed." Jason smirks. I hate when he does that trying to get me to tell him what he wants to know and it makes me mad because he knows that I really can't hide anything from him for he will and has always known everything.

"Because I told him that we aren't staying here for too long." I roll my eyes huffing.

"You idiot." Jason laughs. "Of course we are staying here. No better yet you are staying with your mate. Don't do what my mate did to me." He says glaring at me.

"I'm not trying to. I don't want to put them in danger and I don't want my father coming here and hurting him." I tell Jason. "And I'm nothing like her I would actually come back. I wouldn't leave forever."

"That's the same thing she said." Jason growled at me.

"I'm not fucking her." I push him away from me and start walking away.

I make my way to the doctor office where Faith was. I was too scared to see her for she will probably hate me for what happen to her but I have to stop being a punk and live up to what comes my way.

I walk into her room to see Jazzy look up at me smiling. "Took you long enough."

"You know she was psyching herself out to see me." Faith says shaking her head. "I already know you. Don't think I would blame this on you. I thought they would do something worst like kill me and I would never see you guys again."

"I'm just so glad you're okay." I hug her tightly thinking that this is all a dream and she will disappear is I don't hold her tight enough.

"Hey! Let her breathe." Jazzy laughs as we part. "Anyway where were you for the past 2 days she was here?" She says wiggling her eyebrows.

"Sleeping honestly." I shrug leaning back. "I've been so tired." "No alone time with Mr.Sexy?" Jazzy ask gasping.

"Who Jason?" Faith ask making a face. As if.

Jazzy and I both look at her unimpressed. "Hell fucking no." I gag shaking my head. "The fact that you would ever think that Faith."

"I'm just not ready to let go of Daisy." I finally admit. " I know she's not mine but if I stay here, Jason and Daisy leaves. They will start their own new life somewhere else because he will take a role as an Alpha obviously and how often will I see them as much as you? Who will be there for her when Jason can't?"

"Sweetie, they won't leave you high and dry and you know that. " Faith takes my hand in hers smiling. "Whatever you choose we will stand by you just like we stood by you for the past 3 years, understand that."

"Brody." I go in to his office as he turns around to look at me.

"Are you here to rip my heart out again?" He ask as I frown at him. I wanted to laugh at his dramatic performance but that would just make him more upset.

"No I'm not I'm here to do that." I sigh rolling my eyes. " I'm here to tell you that I'm staying. Well my pack and I are staying."

"Really?" He hops out his seat picking me.

"Yes really." I laugh wrapping my arms around him. He was so warm and it just felt so right in the moment.
