I didn't hesitate as I dashed after the she wolf. I caught up to her and tackle her to the ground. I looked into her eyes and commanded her to shift. She resisted and I said it again. This time she snarled at me and I flinched back a little hurt that she snarled at me. She saw it knowing it was a chance to escape me and ran away. I knew I could catch up again but she out smarted me as her scent ended at a river. I howled in angry. I was going to find her if it was the last thing I did.

Fay

That was too close I sigh. It was obvious that the wolf chasing me was the alpha that I saw at school. Seeing his wolf made my heart beat in the weirdest way. I saw the look he gave me it was possessive and I knew he was going to try to find out who I am. Try was the key word in my head. I was never going to let him find out. If he did I had two choices join his pack or leave. No way in hell am I leaving now. I have John and Jason as my friends here. My first friends in years I add in my head. John would be fine without me, but Jason... I had to stay at least until he shifts. Then I can leave with no regrets.

Damn me and my stand up to bullies policy. Ever since that one time... No I can't think about that now. I'm a different person.

"Wolf are you home?' I mentally said to him.

"Yeah. We need to go to plan B."

"Do we have to?' I said in a whinny way.

"You know what your mom and dad said."

"Fine. Let me get our stuff.' Damn it! I flipping hate that Alpha. The plan was perfect. And now I have to move into an apartment. Now I have to find a different forest to run in. Now I needed to buy a car to get to my new apartment. What makes me even madder is that I have to act all nice to him when I go to school. Damn...Living independently with no parents is hard. I shifted in front of my house.

I needed to pack up my stuff but first I needed to get rid of my scent. I took possibly the fastest shower I have ever taken. And finished packing.

"Damn it!" I shouted kicking a wall realising something. Wolf was going to have to stay here. I couldn't change his scent or his coat. Wolf is my best friend in the world how the hell am I going to be able to leave him here alone. I grabbed my bags and locked the front door. I saw Wolf waiting for me and I started to tear up. I didn't want to leave him. He looked at me and I knew he would be OK without me.

"Wolf stay safe. Don't forget that tomorrow we're hanging out still kay," He nods.

"Yeah. She texted about ditching or something today. She'll be here tomorrow though,"

" Why was she sitting with Jason yesterday "Beats me. But I think Jason has a crush on her. He blushed all the time yesterday when talking to her," I started to laugh. Jason and Fay. Like he had a chance. "Dude, its not funny. Jason is a nice guy," John said interrupting my laughter.

"Hes also the weakest in the pack. He needs to learn his place," I snapped back at John.

"Ash, you've been an ass a lot more then normal. I suggest that you behave more like an alpha and less like an asshole," John said leaving me there in line.

John was right. I mean I'm always an asshole, but lately I've been a mega asshole. Besides that my wolf was excited that tomorrow he'll finally find his mate. Truth be told I really want a mate. My dad and mom loved each other so much. I just wish Dad didn't go so soon. Mom was never the same after he died. She always has a sad look in her eyes and me looking like Dad did not help.

I decided to ditch school and investigate the forest near by. Finding that she wolf would solve one of my problems. Besides its not like I'm going to collage.
