Thankful that he didn't hear all of it, Wu Xingxie changed the topic.

"Xuan'er, now that you are better, I will let you decide if you want to let the others know." Wu Xingxie knew she could not keep him hidden away forever. Sooner or later, if Master Wu ever comes, he's likely to check how Wu Xuan is doing. She was prepared for that and she wanted his opinion.

"I.... I want to let a guard know. Jiejie, can you find him for me?"

Xingxie nodded, how could she ever refuse him? She asked how the person looked like since there were over hundreds.

Wu Xuan put his hand on his chin to think.

He had been sick for so long, he forgot about the man who helped him.

"He is fairly tall."

"There are many tall guards here."

"He has a jade tied on his belt."

Wu Xuan remembered but then other guards did to.

When Xingxie heard about the jade, Wei quickly flashed through her mind.

There are other guards who have the same jade as him too.

Just as Xingxie was thinking this, Wu Xuan's next detail proved her wrong.

"Ah! He has a mole under his right eye!"

The young boy recalled.

"Is his name......Wei?" Xingxie asked to confirm although she was convinced it wss him.

"Yes, yes! Wei gege is the one I want to see. He will be so surprised when he sees me."

Although Wu Xingxie didn't know why Xuan would want to to see Wei, she still found a way for them to meet.

Since Wei was a guard of very high rank, he must be very strong as well. Xingxie used the excuse of personally rewarding him because he saved her twice, although the first time, it was all part of her calculations.

After 20 minutes, Wei was lead by Yuyan to a garden. The garden was very far from the main manor and was isolated. It was the nearest to Wu Xingxie's chambers so she chose that place for the meeting.

Xingixe and Xuan were sitting on the magical swings she created. He was looking at all the flowers which she had also used magic to make them bloom. When the two arrived, the garden looked abandoned and no one took care of the plants so it was pretty gloomy. Xuan wanted fresh air but the place looked so worn out, he suggested her to fix it using her powers.

"Aren't they pretty?" She asked, giggling at his demands.

"Very!" The young boy exclaimed from the spoiling.

Xingxie was pampering him so much and didn't realize Yuyan had brought Wei. At the moment, her veil was off so he saw her whole face for the first time.

However, what caught his eyes were not her looks. The Eldest Miss and Seventh Young Master were sitting on glowing swings which seemed to move without anyone pushing. Her mouth was turned upwards, showing her white teeth as light giggles came out from her. The green hanfu that she wore matched well with the garden. It was as if she was an earth goddess who had came out to play with her brother. Xuan looked handsome too. The last time he saw the boy, he looked pale and weak.

Wei was amazed by the perfect scene of sibling love.

Although he was very happy, Wei could not help but suspect the Eldest Miss was responsible.

"The reason I called is to reward you, but it's really because Xuan'er wished to show you how better he is." She still did not trust him but seeing as Xuan'er really liked this man, she would not interfere with their friendship.

"By the way, how did the Seventh Young Master meet you?" Xingxie could not help but ask. Xuan had never mentioned him before.

"I was walking along one of the ponds a few months ago when someone pushed me but Wei gege saved me! I owe him too just like I owe Jiejie." The boy happily explained as if he didn't care someone deliberately pushed him into a pond to let him drown.

"Don't worry, I caught the one who dared to hurt the Seventh Young Master. He is no longer in the Wu manor." Wei added to reassure her while not mentioning how the servant was tortured to death by him.

"That's a relief. Why didn't you tell me?" She was a bit hurt he chose to hide this from her.

"Sorry Jiejie. It's just, father always has you studying new things to learn. He told me a lot of times not to bother you or hold you up. I didn't want to be burdensome." The 12 year old's tears fell as remembered the harsh words of his "father".

"Xuan'er, it is my fault. I was unaware of all the pain you've been through. This time, Jiejie will not let anyone harm you. So don't cry ok?"

Wu Xingxie bent down and wiped away his tears.

Wei stood there watching the two. He felt out of place between the two sister and brother so he could only smile awkwardly.

"Since you saved Xuan'er, I am indebted to you." Xingxie said to him as she bowed.

"Eldest Miss, don't!" He grabbed her shoulders to stop her.

"I was just doing my job. The Seventh Young Master is a child so how could I not save him from evil people in this manor?" Although he meant the male servant who pushed Wu Xuan, his words held deeper meaning.
