From far away, Hu Jiayi ate his food but his focus remained on them even after they teleported.

Once finished, he paid the waiter and left instantly. He continued doing what he originally planned but kept thinking back to the people earlier and their motives.

Wu Xingxie touched the cloth with her fingers once again to make sure her guess was correct.

The woman pulled Wu Xingxie in and brought her to a table.

"You don't look like you're from around here. Are you visiting someone?" The restaurant owner asked to lighten up the mood. The restaurant was busy but not so much that it was completely packed.

Wu Xingxie nodded before telling her what she wanted and the owner left to tell the chef.

The girl walked until she heard noise coming from afar.

Realizing they were footsteps, she put her guard up and in that moment she turned to where it came from, a dart was coming her way.
