Avoiding The Gang Leader novel Chapter 12

"Leo!!. I scream and threw myself in his arms

"What's wrong?"he held me and asked

I began to cry and grip him tighter as I hear footsteps running towards us. I felt Leo move his hand into his waist and I squeeze my eyes shut waiting for something to happen

Bang! Bang!

"Let's go. "He whispered

He dragged me down the stairs and on to the street. We were almost at his car when someone called from behind us

"Yow!"

Five guys stood there with weapons. A car was speeding towards us and when it came to a stop more men jumped out but they were Leo's people 

"Micah go wait in the car."

"W-what?"I look up at Leo with wide eyes then back at the guys ready to kill each other

"Lock it when you're in."

"I-I".  

"Go NOW!"I yelp and ran towards his car locking all the doors and laying on the back seat covering my ears and closing my eyes.

I scream as I hear gunshots,shouting and police sirens all in one. I felt like I was about to past out because I didn't know if Leo was okay and I didn't want to look but the police sirens are getting closer and I was in a car on the scene. I suddenly hear the car door unlock and I jump peeking up. Leo entered and drove off right away.

"You're staying with me tonight."

I was trembling beside Leo in the passenger seat and he noticed. He rest his hand on my thigh and started to rub it up and down while telling me everything was okay.

I wasn't listening though. That was the most terrifying thing I've ever went through in my life and I was not okay

When Leo reached a stoplight he leaned over and cup my face. He peck my lips a couple times then hugged me.

"You're safe micah,everything is fine."

"Okay. "I whispered 

We started driving again and something came to mind

"Just realizing that i've never been to your house I'm kinda scared. "I chuckled nervously

"Of what?"Leo raised a brown glancing at me

"You know,walking into a house full of gang members and guns,thick smoke and drugs around the place with cash all over."

"Ohh um can I barrow some clothes?"

"Nope you're sleeping in those or naked."

"Bitch. "I mumbled earning another slap on the ass

I stayed on the bed trying to go to sleep while leo was in the bathroom. When he came back he turned off the lights and Laid down. As I was drifting off to sleep I felt his hand caressing my side. I ignored him and tried to sleep. His hand slipped into my shorts and I huff

"Can we just go to sleep?"I asked not really in the mood to do anything

"No. "He said and continued. I turn over and push his hand away from my body

"How can you be so calm and horny when you just killed someone and had a freaking shoot out and cops are searching for who did it. Sometime I think you just want me for sex. "I groan. Leo  sat up  and turned on the lamp on the night stand.

I continued

"How can I lay beside someone who just killed someone had a freaking shoot out and cops are looking for them and it all started because someone was after me I dont know why... you dont know why. If I knew what I was getting myself into I wouldnt have-"

"You knew exactly what the fuck you were getting yourself into!!"Leo shouted angrily and I shut up immediately looking at him with wide eyes

"You know what I do! you know its dangerous you could have stayed away from me you want me as much as I want you and you said you'll risk it but because someone was chasing you all of a sudden you regret everything?!!well go then I'm not stopping you not this time since all I am in your life is trouble."
