When Adrian received the notification, he went to the airport to pick up Mrs. Blackwell and Oliver.

Seeing Henry trailing behind them, he said flatly, "What are you doing here, looking for trouble?"

Henry replied, "I've been a bit bored lately, and my family's been nagging me to get married. I came to take some notes, maybe plan a wedding of my own."

It had been a long flight. Mrs. Blackwell had been busy looking after Oliver and coaxing him to sleep, so she hadn't spoken much with Henry.

As Adrian was about to leave, Oliver tugged on his sleeve. "Daddy, are you really going to marry Selena? What about Mommy?"

Adrian said, "All you need to know is that Isabel will always be your mother, and my wife."

Mrs. Blackwell had already gone inside to unpack and didn't hear Adrian's words.

After a few moments, she noticed Oliver hadn't come in and went to find him.

Henry immediately slid into the passenger seat. "I don't care about Selena, but this Grey Zone business, aren't you going to tell me about it?"

Adrian started the car but didn't kick Henry out.

Henry knew that meant he wasn't planning on keeping him in the dark.

The drive was a while, so Henry made small talk. "The thing you had me look into, about the people who died after taking Selena's y-2—their bodies are missing. The crematorium has no records. To make them disappear so quietly from Westbridge... that's beyond Julian's capabilities. I'm guessing old Mr. Foster had a hand in it. It seems he and Isabel go way back."

Adrian didn't seem surprised; he had expected as much.

He had suspected it ever since Isabel faked her death.

"By the way, did you really not know how capable your wife was?" Henry's curiosity was killing him. "If you had, your grandmother wouldn't have been nearly killed by Selena."

Adrian's dark eyes flickered, but he remained silent.

Although Henry couldn't fully read Adrian, having grown up with him, he knew him to some extent.
