Isabel considered it for a moment, then said, "Let's push the date back a bit."

"Huh?" Miles said. "If we postpone, the next auspicious date isn't for another month."

"That's fine." It was perfect. Isabel could finish her research on x-1, and in a month, she could officially release it. She didn't want to deceive old Mr. Reed by using the identity of Isabel Ashford.

Julian had been so good to her, even willing to walk into the prison of marriage for her sake. She couldn't let him bear everything.

Besides, Adrian had already hurt him because of her.

Marrying him with a false identity just felt wrong.

Once x-1 was launched, she would reveal everything, finalize her divorce from Adrian, and then she could marry Julian as Isabel.

"I'll be busy during this period anyway."

Since it was Isabel and Julian's wedding, Miles was only helping with the preparations, not making the decisions. "Then we'll do as you say. But you should still find time to try on the dress. If it doesn't fit, we can still alter it."

"Okay." After agreeing, Isabel looked at Julian. "You two talk."

"What else is there for us to talk about?" Julian hung up the phone. "I put you on the phone to talk to him in the first place."

He put his phone down. "Since you've set the wedding for a month from now, you'll have to make an appearance at your ex-husband's wedding."

Even if they didn't go, Adrian would probably find a way to force them to be there.

His goal was obvious: Isabel had to be present.
