Isabel didn’t take Oliver with her. She told Martha to watch him and that she wouldn't be back tonight.

Martha didn't ask any questions.

When Isabel arrived at the hospital, all the Blackwells were there, even Old Mrs. Blackwell.

She greeted them and gave the old woman a quick check-up.

“I’m fine.” Old Mrs. Blackwell took her hand and had her sit down beside her. “Grandma can’t help you. I’m so sorry.”

Although Old Mrs. Blackwell was taking the pills Isabel gave her, her age was a factor.

She had also had a heart transplant and was supposed to avoid any kind of agitation.

But Isabel had no other choice. “I’m sorry to make you worry, but you can rest assured.”

Old Mrs. Blackwell knew exactly what was happening. She didn’t say more, just patted her hand.

But Victoria couldn’t hold back. “Did you do this?”

Since Isabel had been able to save Oliver, it proved her skills were exceptional.

If she could create something to save a life, she could create something to take one.

Isabel’s lips curled into a smile, her eyes icy. “Mrs. Blackwell is quite clever. I do wish he were dead.”

“Once he’s dead and I have the death certificate, it will be easier for me to get a divorce.”

Mrs. Blackwell was so furious she was shaking. She pointed a finger at Isabel, but couldn't find the words.

She clutched her chest, looking as if she was about to collapse.

Catherine Blackwell quickly supported her, then turned to Isabel. “Do you have any idea what Adrian gave up for you?”

“I don’t want to know,” Isabel said coldly. “I just want a divorce.”
