Of course, Mrs. Blackwell couldn’t speak of death in front of her mother-in-law.

The entire Blackwell family was busy planning old Mrs. Blackwell’s eightieth birthday celebration.

Mrs. Blackwell’s joy was palpable. She was about to say more, but Isabel didn’t give her the chance. She simply stood up and walked away.

Feeling cheerful today, Mrs. Blackwell didn’t mind. After paying the bill, she went straight to the Blackwell Group to find Adrian.

When Adrian returned to his office after a meeting and saw Mrs. Blackwell, he was slightly surprised. “What brings you here so suddenly?”

Mrs. Blackwell usually called ahead before visiting him.

He hadn't received any call from her.

After all, he was the one who wanted the divorce most.

“Let me know when the papers are signed.”
