She was standing inside her closet, hours after trying to find a suitable clothes to wear she settled for a corporate attire, a black pencil skirt and a white shirt. Her long hair packed up in a ponytail, she was wearing a black 12 inches stiletto heels,she grabbed her bag and walked out of her closet.

When she got inside her room she stood before her giant full length mirror and stared at herself, when she got satisfied with her looks, she grabbed her car keys from the coffee table and walked out of the room.

She got to the living room and found Kate, her maid, cleaning the couch.

"Good morning, Miss Young."Kate greeted, Alicia smiled at her, stopping for a second to look at the teenage girl.

"Kate, just call me, Alicia. Alicia is fine."Alicia told her, she understands that Kate was still trying to warm up to her since she started working for her not even up to a week.

Kate grinned widely, "Thank you, but I'll prefer to call you aunt Alicia."Kate said. Alicia was touched by her humility, she found herself smiling widely at the girl who would be no older than 18.

"Okay, that is settled. You can call me aunt Alicia."Alicia finally responded, "There are stuffs inside the fridge, if you're hungry don't hesitate to cook something for yourself, if you need anything call me, if I don't pick up, text me. Got it?"

"Yes, aunt Alicia."

Alicia nodded her head before walking out of the house and straight rowards her car. Someone might ask why she got a maid meanwhile she lives alone.

The past week, she had been lonely, a couple of times she wanted to call Braxton but her self esteem matters a lot to her. Her house felt dead, she wanted to give the mansion a refreshing breath so she got a new maid and a gateman through her best friend, Serena.

When she got to the red light, she stopped her car, using the opportunity to glance at her phone, she didn't tell Tanya about her visit because she wanted it to be a surprise, Alicia chose the perfect date to visit since they were on summer break.

The light turned green and she continue driving, her thoughts drifting between work and a whole lot of other things.

She drove inside the huge compound of Albert Young, her grandfather's home, her childhood home.

There was a lot of good and bad memories there.

Since her grandmother's death, she rarely visit the mansion. Even though she missed her grandfather who has always been the pilar of support to her, she still couldn't frequent the house.

At 79, her grandfather was so strong and healthy for his age, when he made Alicia the president of Empire Corporation, he knew she would be busy, therefore, he dedicated his time taking care of Tanya, his great grandchild.

Alicia climbed down from her car and straightened her skirt.

"Miss Young."Hunter, Tanya's personal guard greeted. She smiled and nodded her head. She walked inside the house and made her way towards the huge living room.

"As far as the positive feedbacks are higher than the negative ones then you have succeeded as a businesswoman, that is why I left the company in your care, Alicia."Her grandfather said.

"But Mr Harold was just reporting back to you."Alicia stated with a role of her eyes.

Albert Young laughed and patted her on the back. "It doesn't hurt to look out for you, dear child."

"Mom!"Alicia heard a scream coming from the stairs and stood up from her sitting position.

She watched as Tanya raced down the stairs and jumped on her.

"My baby,"Alicia said and sniffed in, she was getting emotional, it has been well over two months since they last saw each other and she missed her baby girl.

"Why didn't you tell me that you're coming? I missed you."Tanya said when Alicia released her.

"Baby, mommy has been busy, but I'm here now! Girls time, right?"Alicia asked with a playful smile on her face.
