"That makes a lot more sense than wolves just randomly coming together and spontaneously finding their mates." I laughed a little at my own stupidity.
Levi and I floated around until it started getting dark. When we saw the moon rising I sighed and turned to him.
"I have to back to the house my pack is staying at so they know I am still alive."
I smiled at him and stood there awkwardly for a second remembering that I didn't have any clothes on. I gestured for him to get out before me, bet he just leaned back against a rock with his hands behind his head and smirked at me. Now I knew he wasn't going to get out any time soon so I glared at him, but he didn't seem affected in the least bit.
I turned away from him, trying to save my dignity. I slowly started walking to the shore. When my shoulders started to break the surface of the water I decided to torture Levi since he was torturing me. I look back and wink at him before I rise out of the water so he could see my bare backside. I swing my hips as I walk all the way to the shore and when I am fully out of the water I turn my head back to look at him and see lust in his eyes. I laugh at him then turn into my wolf and start to walk back to where the house is.
I arrive at the mansion that my pack is staying at and Max is sitting in a chair right in front of the door obviously waiting for me to arrive. I walk to the chair opposite of him and wait for him to start talking.
"Where were you Sophia? Do you know how worried we were? Do you know what your brother would have done if those rogues would have kidnapped you?"
"I am sorry Max, but I had to get some air and think about things, and I wasn't alone. I was perfectly safe, don't worry. I am here now and that's all that matters. Can I go to bed now? I would like to get some sleep before the games tomorrow."
Max looked at me, sighed then nodded his head for me to go. I walked over to him and gave him a little hug and said thanks before I went and passed out on my bed.
I woke up to the smell of chocolate chip pancakes and bacon. I ran downstairs and started piling my plate high with both of the mouthwatering foods. I moaned when I started eating them, and was disappointed when I finished my plate. I frowned when I didn't see any left in the kitchen either. I went into the living room and saw Max sitting watching TV. Without a word I walked over and sat by him.
He looked over at me and said, "You ready for later?"
"It's time to go Sophia, we have to leave now to make it on time." He looks at me and sighs.
"What the last time I looked at the time we still had three hours!"
"Sophia you have been up here for three hours." He sighs at me again.
I turn back and rub my hands down my face, I really am not ready for this yet. I grab my necklace and head down the stairs with Max. I climb into his car and lay down in the back. I fell asleep to the soft sound of the radio playing in the background.
Max woke me up and the first thing I noticed was that the sun was about to set. I sit up and look around and see that there are a lot of females standing to the side. I take that as sign that I need to head over with all the other girls and stand in the middle of the group.
