When it was over, Jay looked a little pale and seemed to not get off fast enough. I looked at the pictures that they always took on these kinds of rides and laughed at the look on Jays face. He was as pale as a ghost in all of them with a stony look in all of them.
"So you don't like roller coasters huh?" I asked him amusedly.
"They aren't my favorite past time." He mumbles.
I laughed at him and we walked over to the next ride which was one of those water rides where you sit in the round boats and go through the tunnels. You can also spin the boat with the round handle in the middle. Jay looked excited for this one. It was a long wait but eventually we made it to the front after a bit of teasing.
We sat across from each other. Once we were strapped in we went off in the boat. Jay immediately started spinning the boat. I just sat back and enjoyed the ride. Well I would have enjoyed it more if we hadn't hit a pretty big wave caused by Jay, which caused me to get soaked.
When we got off I shot Jay another glare which I had fixed on him the entire ride. He laughed and pulled me to him. I crossed my arms over my chest because I am pretty sure everyone could see my bra through my shirt now.
Jay led us to the next ride which was the Ferris wheel. I was glad since it would give me the chance to dry off. There wasn't a line, which I was glad for. We got right on and then before we knew it we were at the top. The view was incredible, you could see the whole park and the lights on all of the rides since it was sunset. Jay and I look at each other and like an old cliché movie we kissed while we were stopped at the top during sunset. I had sneaking suspicion that this is why Jay took us to this one after the last one.
When we got to the bottom we were both blissfully happy. We went on all of the other rides and had a great time. We forgot to go to the park after, but I don't think either of us cared. We went home sated and with wide smiles on our faces.
The next day time seemed to fly and the Diana, Jay, and I were off to the airport. We put our things in the car and Jay drove us to the London airport, which was only ten minutes away. We got to the airport and put our luggage on the conveyer belt and waited for our flight to be called.
"So Diana I know I already asked Jay, but how do you feel about going to the U.S. and meeting my brother?" I asked across Jay.
"I am very excited! I can't wait to meet your brother and I love traveling and seeing new places. All of this is amazing." She answered with enthusiasm.
"My name is Diana, nice to meet you Harold." Diana said completely oblivious to his flirting.
Jay wasn't quite as oblivious though and let out a low growl. I elbow him in the side and giggle a bit. Diana looks at Jay questioningly. I just shake my head at her and smile. She turns back around, the man, Harold, didn't notice anything strange which is good.
When the man starts flirting with Diana again Jay decides to speak up this time, "Hey mom, when are you flying back to meet dad again?" He asked still glaring at Harold.
"Honey I told you I was flying back in a week. Your father knows too, so I don't get why you are being so weird about it." She says to Jay and I can't help the laughter that spills out now.
Harold sure seems like he got the point though. He turns towards the back of the seat in front of him, staring straight ahead. He doesn't say anything else to Diana. I turn to Jay and raise my eyebrows at him, he just acts like nothing happened. I shake my head at him and lean my head against the back of my seat.
