Catch Her By Her Scent novel Chapter 50

"What just happened tell me, please tell me I am not going crazy. Please tell me what happened?" I ask him franticly.

"I am so sorry sweetheart but we did this to make your powers wake from their dormant state. We organized this with the pack and your brother did most of the work with some help from a very friendly witch nearby. Please don't be mad at us Sophia. We just wanted what was best for you." Jay explained carefully.

"It's okay I forgive you, but if you do anything like this again I will get you back." I glare at him.

I notice then that Max, Brent, Izzy, and Diana were here now too. I walk over to them and hug each of them in turn. When I get to Max and Brent I slap both of them behind the head and turn my attention solely on Brent. I slap and punch him for a few minutes, then I pull him into a bone crushing hug.

"If you ever scare me like that again I will put spiders, snakes, and everything you hate in your room while you are sleeping." I tell him with another slap to the back of his head.

"Okay so now that this is all figured out, what exactly was this for again?" I ask needing answers for what just happened.

"We planned all of this so your powers would emerge. This is the plan we told you about yesterday, but we left out a few details about it so it would work. If we told what we were really doing it wouldn't have worked. We still are going to train you once we know what your powers are. If you wouldn't mind would you please tell us of all the powers you got during this exercise?" Max said.

"Well I know that I have healing powers, I healed myself in like two seconds. Stopping time, or slowing it down, super speed, teleporting, and having visions of the future." I said remembering all the things that had happened.

They all looked at me in awe and even I have to admit that my powers are pretty badass and amazing. With that we get in the cars they were driving in search for me. We get back to the pack house and immediately start training to control my powers. We start in the gym to assess them first see how much I can do.

"Okay Sophia all I want you to do is stop the ball in the air for a minute." Max said.

"Anything else you want to try?" I ask with a little cockiness.

"No we aren't sure how to do the whole vision of the future thing and we are sure that you don't either. As for the healing we don't have any injured now and we aren't going to let you injure yourself. That is all for today, good job. I think you have earned your rest for the day." Max says a little amused.

"C'mon Jay lets go to our room." I say. I take his arm and teleport us into our room.

Today we are leaving my pack in Oklahoma and we are going to start recruiting. Jay and I are the only ones that are going to travel to convince the packs to join the fight. We were packing all of our stuff and the first place we are going is east coast first. With my new transporting ability we are going to forgo regular transportation.
