"Yes?" He stared at me.

"I don't feel like going home yet." I waited for a reply, unmoving.

"Okay." He smirked, pulling me closer to him.

We were in the tree house. Alone.

It was kinda cute actually, the tree house I mean. The inside was lighted up by thousands Christmas lights, flickering in the dark like fireflies. They exposed the wooden walls, covered with colorful writing. Names…Names of lovers, love quotes, love promisses…love stories written on the lighted walls. It was so beautiful.

Lucas brought us two beers. "This one has your name on it." He offered me one.

"I…I won't be able to drink that. The whole bottle at least." I muttered.

"Oh, my little virgin…" He shook his head, smirking. I blushed like crazy. What the hell happened to lil' kitty? "Tell you what," He said, cracking open a beer. "drink as much as you can." He gave me the opened beer, licking the tip of his thumb, which was covered with beer foam that escaped from the beer can.

I took the beer, calming my cheeks down with it's frostiness. Lucas took a big sip, sliding his tongue across his lower lip, removing the small drops of foam. That dark angel made my heart race.

I followed his lead and took a small sip of that disgusting bitter beverage. The worst taste was when I was still holding the liquid on my tongue, I could feel that bitter spot on the tongue pretty clear now. When I swallowed it, the fizz filled my throat, warming it up. A bitter-sweet feeling.

We were looking at each other in silence for a few minutes, just drinking beer. All the lights flickering around us, dancing around like white butterflies, butterflies in my stomach…The slow, fuzzy feeling inside my head, the warmth… It was intoxicating.

"Does it hurt?" I suddenly said.

"What?" He softly replied.

"Your stomach, where he punched you." I murmured. He lifted his shirt, revealing his stomach abs. Perfectly carved.

He poked himself, hissing through his teeth in pain. "A bit. Does it show?"

"Skye!" He yelled. I stopped. I give up. I looked at him with the expression of surrender on my face. "Calm down." He said and gently put my hands aside. He slowly started to untangle the threads. In only a minute he was done. Impressive.

I pouted my lips, feeling embarrassed because I almost got a nervous break down 'cause of some stupid accident. "You look so cute when you're frustrated." He laughed and ruffled his hair. Stop making me blush you damn Dashwood!

He suddenly lay down, his head in my lap. I could smell that captivating scent of cigarette smoke and washing powder. I slowly brushed his hair with my hand. It was so soft and smooth…

"Tell me your darkest secret." He suddenly interrupted my silent daydreaming.

"You already know." I calmly answered. Brushing his hair calmed me down. Tranquility.

"Right." He slowly took my left hand, and pulled up my sleeve. I hated him staring at my shame. I looked away. He was gently caressing my wrist full of scars. "Please promise me something." He moaned in my wrist, his warm breath making me shiver. "Promise me you won't cut yourself anymore." He bluntly put that out there.

"I…" I wasn't sure if I could keep a promise like that, I just wasn't sure I was strong enough.

"Please." He gazed at me with his dark diamonds of pain. He looked like a small boy, asking his mother for a candy or a toy or just five more minutes…
