I went over to cover him up, when I heard his raspy voice: "You do know it's super creepy to stare at somebody while they're sleeping?"
"Uhm..." I mumbled, having a tiny heart-attack because of the sudden shock.
He jerked his eyes open, leaning on his elbows. His hair was messy, but it fit him. Heck, anything fits him. "Can't sleep?" He yawned.
"Yeah...I just came here for a glass of water..." I lied.
"Oh."
"Mhm."
"So?"
"What?"
"Are you gonna get that glass or what?"
"Oh, right..." I took a step.
"Wait..." He smirked with a dark desire on his face. "Come here." He grabbed my hand and pulled me into his lap.
"Huh?" I frowned with puzzlement and a flash of excitement.
"I'm going to seduce you..." He reached up to trail his fingers across my neck, down and low.
"W...What?" I struggled to keep my voice steady.
"...so you won't be able to leave. So you'll stay here." He buried his head into my neck, tickling me softly with his hair.
"We...We c...can't..."
"Do you wanna leave?" He paralyzed me with his inviting question.
"No..." I breathed out, feeling terribly wicked for such an answer. "B...But this is..."
"Wrong?
Naughty?
Forbidden?" His burning gaze swallowed me up.
"Mhm..." I whispered.
His eyelids dropped down and he slid his hand on my hip, tormentingly slow. "Lil' kitty..." He groaned, his voice muffled against my collar bone. He bit into my skin, wrapping his arms around me, holding me captive against him. He sucked with a soaring lust, making my body shudder in blissful pain, and I even had to cover my mouth to capture a moan traveling up my throat.
I pressed my sinful lips upon his sugary ones, joining him in the play of moonlight, and darkness was our smoke screen. His lips rested against mine for a moment before moving, a moment so intense it lasted forever, making me even forget my own name.
"We s...shouldn't..." I clutched to his shirt.
"Skye, right?" A girl with short blond hair asked.
I nodded.
"Did you do something different with your hair?" She smiled.
"I, um..." I cleared my throat. "Yes, I braided them." I tried to sound as confident as possible, instinctively caressing my french braid. It wasn't perfectly tight, and a few strains of hair escaped, but I thought it was decent. I just wanted to try something different today. After all, I did feel different.
"It looks good on you." She complimented me. She complimented me? Nobody ever compliments me...Well, except Lucas. "I'm Natalie, by the way." She flicked her short hair.
"Natalie!" One of our classmates yelled.
"Oh, looks like I have to go. See ya!" She waved and walked towards that person.
"Bye..." I almost forgot to say goodbye because of the sudden surprise. Somebody actually talked to me? From my class? Well, that was new.
I packed my pink notebook and walked towards the exit, confused.
"Yo." A familiar voice stopped me.
I turned around. "Lucas." He didn't look too happy. "What's wrong?" I stepped closer.
He waved a piece of paper in front of my nose. "Your mom faxed the forms for emancipation to the school this morning, so I decided to just get over with it, as quickly as possible."
