As soon as Jayda ended the call, Sebastian did a happy dance for three minutes. He wanted to go to the rooftop of his office building and shout out loud that he was going to his baby's appointment tomorrow.
Before he left the office, Sebastian contacted his Secretary to reschedule all his morning meetings. Jayda and his child mattered the most in his life, every other thing could come later.
Seb had smiles on his face as he drove to his apartment. He took a shower, had dinner, then face timed Caleb.
"Guess what?" Sebastian said when his best friend's face came into view.
"You bought a new car," Caleb replied dryly. It was second to none how often Sebastian changes his cars.
"Unfortunately, No."
"Then what is it?" Caleb asked, carefully.
"Jayda called me this evening."
"Are you for real?"
Seb replied with a nod. He had smiles all over his face.
"Wow. That's amazing!"
"I know, I can't stop smiling since then."
"So what did she say?" Caleb asked.
"She thanked me for all the gifts I sent to her, I apologized for everything I did and she invited me to her Doctor's appointment tomorrow."
"That's amazing, I'm so happy for you, Seb. You lost her once and I really hope you learned your lesson. Now that she has given you another chance, Please don't screw it up. A woman like Jayda is hard to find."
"I promise I won't screw up. So, which outfit should I wear tomorrow?" Sebastian asked as he moved his camera to four different pairs of suits he had set aside in his closet.
Caleb chuckled in disbelief. "You're going for an appointment, man and not a damn business party."
Sebastian moved the camera back to his smiling face, "I know, I want to look good for Jayda and my baby. If I wasn't going to work tomorrow, I would have gone for a casual outfit."
"I See....someone is over excited about tomorrow," Caleb smiled.

Sebastian hardly had any sleep last night. He kept on replaying his conversation with Jayda in his head and for some reason, he felt today was going to be the start of a new beginning for him. He promised himself to be very careful not to screw anything up.
Seb was up by 6:33 am, he did his morning ritual, made himself a cup of coffee which he sipped while doing some work on his laptop.
Once it was almost 8:30, he got ready for the day and left for the hospital.
As soon as Sebastian got down from his car, He sighted Jayda pulling up in the space next to where he parked his car. They must have like minds, arriving at the same time.
As nervous as he felt, he went over to the driver's seat to welcome her but he had to wait for a while because she was on a phone call.
Once Jayda was done talking to the person on the other side, She reached for the handbag that was on the front passenger's seat and helped herself down, only to come face to face with Sebastian who had both of his hands in his pocket. She had no idea he was standing there and perhaps waiting for her.
Sebastian was impressed by the woman before him. She looked more beautiful than the last time he saw her. She was also glowing wonderfully well which must be as a result of the pregnancy. Jayda was in her business suit attire with a pair of matching heels and bag. She had her hair in a low ponytail. She was just perfect!
"Good morning." He smiled at her. He noticed she was putting on the drop-down chain he bought for her and that made him very happy.
"Hi." She replied with a small smile.
"You look amazing!" He complimented which earned a small blush from Jayda.
"Thanks." She replied.
"Thank you for extending this invitation to me, I wouldn't trade being here with you with anything in the world." He said sincerely.
Jayda smiled, "We are honoured to have you here with us. Doctor Davis must be waiting for us, Let's go."
Sebastian and Jayda walk side by side into the hospital. When they got to the reception, they were directed to the ultrasound room where Davis was waiting for them.
"Good morning." Dr Davis greeted as soon as Seb and Jay walked into the room. She hugged Jayda and shook hands with Sebastian.
She was happy to see Jayda looking radiant which was great compared to how sad she was on her last appointment. It didn't take her long to figure out Sebastian was the father of Jayda's baby. She was happy he was here with Jay.
Sebastian sat on a chair beside the ultrasound bed while Jayda sat on the bed as Davis began to ask her questions about her health.
She came back to the room and handed the pictures which were already in a brown envelope to Sebastian.
Jayda almost died of embarrassment when Seb placed a long kiss on her lower belly, not minding the fact that Doctor Davis was there. He rolled down her Cami and then she sat up on the bed.
"Everything is going well, Your baby is growing perfectly. She said to them. The parents-to-be nodded with smiles on their faces.
"Keep eating healthy, avoid stress and always stay hydrated."
Dr Davis turned to Sebastian and said, "I'm counting on you to take very good care of them. Again, Don't feed her with only chocolates, let there be varieties. You can mix the chocolates with healthy food and drinks and maybe a little bit of healthy sex to help your baby grow healthier."
Sebastian chuckled, "Noted Doc."
Jayda's face was almost as red as a tomato. But Seb gave her hand a light squeeze, indirectly telling her that there was no need to be shy about what the Doctor said.
Davis handed Jayda a meal plan and prescriptions of the vitamins she should get.
"I'll see you guys at your next appointment."
"Thanks, Doc." They both said. Jayda stood to her feet. Seb wore her blazer for her. She put the prescription, brown envelope and meal plan in her handbag then gave Davis a goodbye hug.
Seb and Jayda made their way to the pharmacy section of the hospital to buy Jayda's vitamins. Before she could reach for her purse to pay for the items, Sebastian beat her to it by handing over one of his credit cards to the cashier.
"Thanks," Jayda mumbled, shyly.
He smiled at her. "Don't mention."
Seb collected the medicines and his card after which they made their way out of the hospital.
"Please have breakfast with me" He pleaded. He had no idea what her reply was going to be but he knew there was nothing bad in trying. He wasn't ready to let her go yet.
Jayda wanted to say no because she had work waiting for her in the office but she couldn't bring herself to decline his offer after looking into his pleading eyes.
"Okay." She agreed. Seb let out a sigh of relief.
They walked down to a fancy restaurant which was not far from the hospital.
