Payton's point of view...

The two ladies in the room stared each other silently. From what I can sense, Shania was more than shocked on learning Kiara's presence here. She did not blink her eyes even for a second. Very well it was clear, she was insecure, baffled and curious to see her there WITH ME.

Her body never moved from the moment she turned around. I and Shania had done so many things to separate Raven and Kiara. She wanted Raven and I badly desired to own Kiara.

We worked together to seperate them. And finally when they were separated we went our ways. Shania left the country with him while here I tried to woo kiara. It was impossible though. After his leave Kiara never paid any heed to me or any other guy. She was genuinely in love with him and I know it might be very difficult for her to accept any other guy in his place.

I faked a cough to break their trance. Looking away from each other, the two of them heaved a breath preparing each other. There was anxiety written all over Shania's face. She seemed to be scared for some reason. "I never thought I will see her with you." I turned to face Kiara.

I accept I was equally responsible for her breakdown during college times, it was my plan to make Shania crazy for raven and come up with a solid plan that can help separate them. However I don't want that to be revealed otherwise she will start hating me again. I cannot risk my years long hard work to go in vain.

"I didn't know it was you behind such a great product. You look too weird to be its owner!" I chipped grabbing her attention. "If you don't mind then can we talk like real professionals." Shania cocked a brow intently eyeing me with a smirk.

That was true I had to take her help at a point in life to woo Kiara but now I don't need anything from her. No matter what, I will be as stern as I can towards her if that's what it takes to keep Kiara to me.

Shania gave a 'whatever you say' type of look before she sat in front of us on a single couch. Throughout the while, Kiara silently read our body postures. She from time to time kept diverting her gaze from me to her as though trying to learn our minds.

"So Payton, I never get into any deal unless I see profit and you know that. But I must say I am quite impressed by your company, you are under top five famous entrepreneurs but obviously after me." I can't help but roll my eyes over her show off.

Last year her company bagged a rank ahead of mine notwithstanding, it makes no difference. "Come straight to the deal we are sitting here for. We have waited enough for you Shania, do not irritate me any more with your words. Let's just come to the conclusion whether we are collaborating or not." I was indeed rude and irritated.

After making us wait for the entire fucking day if she thinks she can talk to me as if nothing happened than she should know that I am still annoyed. Had I known the clients I was dying to collaborate with is no other than her, then I would never have come here.

I certainly do not want to bring about any gap between me and Kiara. Shania still scares me in this matter. If she can take Billy away from Raven after killing her daughter then she can do anything.

"Cool down Payton, you would not have been sitting here if we were not signing a deal. Just that I am shocked you finally got her!" I held my breaths praying to god. I can sense Kiara's increasing temper. Every time Shania opened her mouth she dragged her in our conversation, I fear it will lead to one of the fights that can ruin our relationship. "From one billionaire's room to another's! I must say she is clever. After getting my husband's bed she successfully attacked yours." It boiled my blood. Her allegations angered me. She can say the heck she want but not about her physical relationships. I don't want to hear that!

Keeping aside my phone as I leaned in to counter her statements, "Everyone knows who got into whose pants. For your information, Raven is not your husband any more and that shows how characterless you are to call somebody else's husband- as your husband!" Her voice broke in the atmosphere.

She had managed her emotions not letting them out on her face yet her irritated voice reassigned how angry she was. I moved back suddenly seeing Shania laugh loudly as though she inhaled laughing gas. "Husband! Oh my goodness." She fell back on the couch laying down on it. "Ooh yeah, that husband who you betrayed just for some good for nothing revenge that he was never supposed to be a target of. Raven was never at fault, lol. I happened to manipulate him and make him leave you. He just followed my words under my charm but look what you did! You left him when he needed you the most. Wow, if that makes you call him your husband than I should say, he is the most cursed husband. " She clapped her hands showing her excitement.

Kiara was hardly any steps away from him that, "Martina, take him out now!" Shania's command echoed in the entire room as she pulled back Kiara's arm not letting her go anyway ahead.

"Billy" Cried Kiara.

"Mammaaaa!" Kiara kept fidgeting there for freeing herself from her grip alas Billy was long taken outside providing that his scream stayed behind still resonating in my ears.

No sooner have he gone out, "Take her away Payton before I kill her!" Pushing her in my arms as Shania pointed at the door, I held her protectively.

She had lost her calm. "Come on Kiara, let's go." I dragged her frozen body out with me with a deep sigh with Billy's screams still haunting my ear drums.

I made her sit in the car and just as I sat in my seat looking, my eyes fell on the rear view mirror

And realized, I had tears in my eyes too!
