The little sandy wolf before me looked frightened and was probably trying to tell her human that she should back out of the fight, but judging by her facial expression she refused, forcing her wolf to fight.
The wolf charged at me with a growl aiming for my neck. I jumped over her spinning around in the air to face her now turned back. My own wolf let out a growl but difference between her growl and mine was the pure power behind it, it could bring anyone to their knees.
I wanted to end this quickly so I knocked the wolf to the ground and gripped onto her neck being careful not to crush her windpipe. As I was holding her to the ground I picked up a small quiet scream. I drooped the wolf's head and looked towards the forest with my ears pricked, waiting to see if I wasn't imagining the sound. I heard the scream again. It was growing faint but it was still on our territory. I pulled my lips back showing my teeth and growled ferociously before taking off into the forest leaving nothing but dust in my place.

"Oh. Not again." Jay mumbled. I couldn't help but laugh. It's just so amusing to see weak little girls challenge Jay because they're jealous that she holds so much power, and not to forget that she is beautifully breath-taking.
The fight between Jay and the small sandy wolf didn't last long. Jay had her pinned to the ground by her neck in seconds. Whilst I was watching her fight it seemed so effortless for her. The sandy wolf was panting for breath and her body was physically shaking from exhaustion; whilst Jay was breathing evenly and standing tall. That's when I truly noticed the size of Jay's wolf not only in height but in muscle as well. Myself as an alpha would have his pride knocked if I stood beside her, but as her mate I would hold my head up with pride letting others know that she was mine. If only I had the chance to prove that to her.
I watched her now as she stares into the forest with her ears pricked. I wonder what she can hear. I try to see if I can hear anything but come up empty. I focus my gaze back on Jay to see her snarling and with a mighty growl she's off into the forest leaving dust in her place.
"What's up with Jay?" I ask the triplets.
"We don't know dude." Jake replies as they all shrug.
Out of the corner of my eye I can see that all the alphas have gathered so I go over and join them.
I dodged trees, leaped over logs and snapped at branches that got in my way. My wolf and I were on a mission, a mission to kill and we weren't going to let anyone or anything get in our way. I was pushing my wolf to the limits; she wasn't protesting. The wind ran through my fur as I shot through the forest at new speeds leaving a trail of dust behind me.
I came to a stop besides a magnificent oak tree to listen to the sounds of the forest. The tree branches danced in the wind swaying from side to side, bird wings flapping as they flew above me chirping as they go and the pitter-patter of tiny paws running around. The screams that I heard before had recently stopped leaving me blind to the whereabouts of the enemies. I tuned out the forest and tried to catch a sound or a scent from the rouges that I was tracking down; not too far from my current location I heard muffled screams and heavy paws hitting the ground. Accompanying the paws were also the sound of light soft falls of human feet.
"They're close by," my wolf informed me.
"Let's go take a look shall we?" Choosing not to alert the intruders to my presence I leisurely trotted to their location. I crouched behind a big enough bush and poked my muzzle through so I could see what was going on. Standing before me were a group of rouges in both human and wolf form surrounding two young children. I immediately recognized the young ones as members from my pack.
"When did they even have the time to take them?" And how didn't we notice? My wolf asked with a slight growl.
