"You could definitely be onto something here Jay." Alpha Sage looked thoughtful. "Did Sebastian tell you about the rouges?"

I shook my head. "He never told us anything. He said that he would tell us everything when it was the right time."

"The only thing we did get out of him was how Jay could enhance her powers but that was about it." Cameron added.

Everyone was quiet all lost in their own thoughts, thinking things through.

"We have quite a problem on our hands." Leon broke the silence.

"I wouldn't say that exactly. I would think of this in the way we did with Cameron and Jay's kidnapping." Alpha Sage said.

Penny looked outraged. "It's a completely different situation!"

"It really isn't the only difference is that it won't be a rescue mission so we won't have to worry about that. However, we won't know what these rouges are like. If there is a witch or warlock working with them we are going to have to be extremely careful." Alpha Sage tried to reassure Penny.

"So what do you suggest we do?"

"We go back to what we were doing before Cameron and Jay were taken. We train."

I went quiet again. I could see in their eyes that they agreed with Alpha Sage but they were going through everything in their minds to reassure themselves.

"Alright then, we go back to what we were doing beforehand. We don't know when they are going to attack so we need to be prepared for everything and anything." Penny reluctantly agreed. "I suggest we all head off to bed, it's been a long night. Training will take place in a couple of days I think everyone needs a rest."

Penny, Leon and Alpha Sage departed from the office leaving Cameron and I behind. I stood awkwardly just in the doorway and Cameron remained seated. I was starting to feel self-conscious as he kept staring at me, my jumper showed off a section of my belly and my yoga pants were resting low on my hips. I could see the lust in Cameron's eyes.

Cameron was shocked his eyes were wide like saucers. "Really?"

I nodded then reached up on my tiptoes and pecked him on the lips. When I pulled back I smiled wide up at him, it felt like my face was going to split in two.

"I could get used to this." Cameron murmured against my lips as he captured them in another kiss.

I sighed, he wasn't the only one.

He pulled away. When I opened my eyes Cameron had a serious expression plastered over his face.

"I know we haven't really been able to talk about this, us I mean considering the circumstances but I really want to talk about it. I know no matter how many times I say that I'm sorry it's not going to put everything right but I meant everything I said when we were locked up in that cell. I love you Jay. I've always loved you even before I found out you were my mate. I was a dumb jock back then; I was too worried about my reputation to act on my feelings. I thought I need someone that wasn't you but really it was the other way around. I only needed you." His eyes were moist and I could see the water building up. "We have a couple of days before everything kicks off again with the training and I was wondering if you'd like to spend time together, get to know each other and to start afresh."
