Eventually Penny sobered up and she was now sitting calmly back in her seat.
"Are you done?" I asked in a monotone voice.
"Yup! Okay Jay I'm just going to say this bluntly. You're going into heat."
"You've got to be kidding me!"
"I kid you not Jay. This is a way that the moon goddess makes sure that all mates complete the mating process. You and Cameron have been away from each other for a long time and now that you're together she's not going to let that happen again, so she's kick starting your heat early."
"W-what does that mean for me?" I stuttered.
"It means that in a couple of days or less you're going to want to jump Cameron and there's nothing you can do about it because your wolf will be in complete control of your body."
I remained quiet just thinking. In a couple of days I was going to go into heat and my wolf was going to be worse than she is now and there is nothing I can do about it. I pondered over all of my options. I couldn't stay away from Cameron because my wolf would just take over so that's not going to happen plus Cameron wouldn't be able to control his wolf either, I couldn't just abandon my pack because they need me and their my family this left me with my one and only option.
I stood up and went to exit Penny's office.
"Jay, where are you going?" Penny questioned.
"I'm going to sort something out. Thank you for your help Penny." I smiled.
"Anytime kiddo."
When I pulled up to the pack house it was already around seven in the evening and it was almost completely black outside. I grabbed my bags and rushed inside only to run into a wall, sparks shot through my body feeding the fire brewing inside of me. I looked up through my hair to see Cameron standing in front of my with a smile on his face.
"What are you doing down there?" He chuckled holding out his hand for me.
"It's your fault." I mumbled placing my small hand in his so he could help me off the ground. Once I was standing I wiped the invisible dust of my clothes and started to gather my shopping bags.
"Do you need a hand with those?" Cameron asked going to take my bags from me.
"NO!" I shouted jumping away from him. I saw the shock in his face and I panicked. "Urm… No, no it's o-okay I've got this." I didn't hang around. I high tailed it up the stairs, into my room slamming the door behind me and slid down the door with a 'huff'. I gave myself a minute to compose myself before getting to work. I had roughly a couple of hours before Cameron came up to bed so I had to work fast. I deposit my bags on my bed and start to rummage through them. First I take out the chocolate and vanilla scented candles and dot them around the room lighting them as I go. Once all the candles are lit I set up all of Cameron's favourite chocolates on the side table then I dim the lights. The flames flickered making the shadows dance around the room almost making the room feel eerie and the smell of chocolate and vanilla over powered my senses. Everything was all set up and I still had time to spare, I planned to use the time wisely to prepare myself.
