"Hello my dear." She said with a smile on her face.

"What do you want?" I asked slowly backing away from her. My body was shaking from my fear. I scolded myself for being so weak but I couldn't stop myself from trembling.

"We want you my dear." She took slow steps towards me.

"We?"

"Yes we."

"Who's we? Why do you want me?"

"I can not tell you that yet. You're special my dear. More powerful than anyone. We want to help you."

I laughed. I laughed so hard that tears started to roll down my face. "Special? You're joking right? Have you even looked at me? I'm weak, pathetic and a disgrace."

"That is where you are wrong. You are going to a very powerful wolf, my dear."

"I can't even shift!" I shouted.

"Not yet. But you will and when you do it's going to be magnificent."

I was utterly and completely confused. This women standing before me was a part of something that I didn't know of and they wanted me of all people to join them? And what did she mean by when I shift? I thought I lost my chance to shift over a year ago on the sixteenth birthday? I stared at the women before me puzzled then I remembered the small print in the book. Disappear... No one knows where or why.

Everything seemed to click into place. These people were here to take me away and the ironic thing is I had turned seventeen only two weeks ago. The book was right.

I was now sat in the back of a van with the women who's name I found out to be was Penny and three other guys. They were all quite something to look at. They all looked like each other I was starting to think that they were brothers. They all had dark brown hair, blue eyes and well built. I had to stop myself from drooling. I know I had a mate but there's nothing wrong with a bit of window shopping now is there? Wow, that made me sound like a player.

It turned out they were all hiding in the forest, so even if I ran one of them would have caught me and brought back to Penny. I still hadn't gotten any answers from these people but they seem nice enough. I mean they are taking me away from that hell home that I called my home and pack.

"Penny, can I ask you a question?"

Jay's P.O.V (Jessica)

I've been living with Penny who happens to be the alpha of the pack and the boys for a few months now and let me tell you my life is great!

I found out that Josh, Jake and James or the three J's are in fact triplets. How cool is that? They are the same boys that helped Penny bring me home with them and I'm glad they did because they are now my best friends. The rest of the pack The Midnight Jet Pack calls us the terrible j's. We like to play pranks on our fellow pack mates and when there's a rouge attack we are ruthless. Yeah, I may not be able to shift but we use that to our advantage and besides I can throw a mean punch. No one messes with me. Even though we play all of these pranks, we are very loyal to the pack. The boys and I would never let anyone or anything harm them and they know that.

I remember when I first arrived at the pack house it was in complete chaos.

The ride was deathly silent and awkward. I tried to make conversation with the boys but they shot me down with one word answers. In the end I just stopped trying. The majority of the ride I gazed at the side of the van not really thinking about anything.

My eyelids felt really heavy and my eyes were starting to itch. It was only now that I realised how tired I actually was.

I must have fallen asleep because I was awoken to a loud crash. My eyes flashed open as the van rocked backwards and forwards from the impact. I gripped the sides of the seat that I was sitting on as the van came to a standstill.

"We really should invest in some seat belts." I heard Penny mutter under her breath. I couldn't help but agree with her.
