Both sides of the road were bordered by steep cliffs. Hitting a car at this speed meant a death wish.

He refused to believe—

Before his thought could finish, a deafening crash echoed in his ears.

*Bang!*

In the next second, they watched in horror as Shanley's car rammed straight into them without a moment's hesitation.

The car blocking their path had just started its engine and hadn't even begun to move before it was shoved violently by the doors, skidding straight toward the edge of the highway.

At this speed and angle, one wrong move meant plummeting over the side.

The men inside the rammed car panicked, frantically wrestling the steering wheel to swerve back into a safe position.

That desperate maneuver instantly opened up a narrow sliver of road.

"Hold on tight, Juniper!"

Shanley jerked the steering wheel, and their car shot through the tiny gap between the two converging vehicles like a bullet.

"Is that kind of driving skill even real?" a bodyguard stammered, staring after the car that had blasted past them like a hurricane.

He managed to squeeze through a gap that small?!

"Stop staring and after them, damn it!" The head of the detail punched the empty air, roaring furiously, "If we don't catch them, we're all dead meat!"

"Yes, sir!"

The bodyguards immediately floored the gas and took off in pursuit.

Five cars were now engaged in a high-speed chase on the narrow highway—swerving, overtaking, and colliding.

Tires screeched violently against the asphalt, sending showers of sparks flying into the air.

"Ahhhhh!"

The man in the passenger seat was already scared out of his mind, clutching his seatbelt and screaming at the top of his lungs.

"So loud."

Juniper sat completely unfazed in the back, casually tossing her gun aside. With a lollipop in her mouth, her expression remained as serene as still water.

As the car sped past a thick patch of tall grass, Shanley suddenly kicked the passenger door open and booted the man right out.

"Ahhh—"

The man hit the grass, tumbling violently several times before passing out from sheer terror.

"Not so loud anymore," Shanley said, glancing back at his wife with a deeply affectionate tone.

"Mhm."

Juniper nodded, drawing out her words lazily, "I want to play too."

"This stretch is a bit dangerous..." Shanley looked at her with gentle concern.
