Emmy felt her whole body go weak as he kissed her. Her hands wrapped around his neck without even thinking, her head tipping back so she could kiss him just as fiercely.

She lost track of how long they stayed like that. Eventually, James pulled away, just barely, but kept his face nestled into the curve of her neck, his breath coming hard and fast. The heat of it swept over her skin, making her shiver.
