Emmy turned and walked out of the lounge. This provided the perfect excuse. She had been worrying about how to move around without drawing suspicion, and now, under the guise of playing with the little princess, she had a legitimate reason to explore. Naturally, for safety's sake, she could not wander alone. Her gaze swept over the security personnel trailing nearby, and she casually pointed at a man standing at the very back of the group, ordering him to follow her.

He was a tall man with heavily bronzed skin, wearing traditional Fijian attire. The surrounding guards paid him no attention, assuming he was just an ordinary local soldier. But Emmy recognized him instantly. It was none other than Will.

Having Will follow her brought a deep sense of relief to her heart. She pretended to search for the girl as they walked deeper into the ship. Passing by the central hall, she caught a distant glimpse of James surrounded by representatives from various factions. Emmy did not stop her pace, nor did she walk toward him. Pushing open a half-closed cabin door, Emmy immediately spotted the hem of a pink dress peeking out from behind the curtains. She walked over, pulled the curtain aside, and announced that she had found her.

Clarissa let out a scream of pure excitement. She praised the pretty lady for being so amazing and finding her so quickly. Stomping her feet in delight, the generous little princess fished the remaining black pearl from her pocket and shoved it into Emmy's hands.

Emmy leaned against the back of the door, waiting quietly. She assumed that given the little princess's intelligence, as long as she did not hide in a difficult spot, the girl would easily find her simply by opening the door.

But as the minutes ticked by, the door remained shut. Growing impatient, Emmy gripped the handle, ready to step outside. But in that exact fraction of a second, someone forcefully pushed the door open from the outside! Emmy instinctively stepped back, raising her eyes in high alert.
