Mike's P.O.V.

Evan punched the car door in frustration.

"Dude! That's my car you are trying to damage!" I screamed.

"Sorry," he mumbled.

"I get you are angry but as you can see Annie has moved on and so should you," Lily seemed irritated and I don't blame her.

"Well, this makes me angry. I can't see her with another guy!" he roared.

Well shit. I didn't like that anymore than he did but the dude needs to keep his anger in check. Let Annie live her life.

"I should've never let her go," Evan said. His face was flushed like fire was about to come out of his ears.

"I am going to find out where she lives," he declared.

"Dude...don't do anything stupid. She will hate you if you mess with her love life. Just let her be," I protested.

"Fuck off. I don't care about your opinion. I need to see her again or I am gonna go crazy," Evan said.

"You are already acting crazy. Get a hold of yourself! We are going to leave in another day so what's the point of chasing after her?" Lily said.

"I won't leave until she is mine again," he said.

I sighed. There was no point in arguing with him. He had gone blind with rage. His love for her turned into an obsession. Maybe coming here was a terrible idea.

"Didn't she tell you where she worked?" Evan turned to Lily and asked suddenly.

Lily fidgeted uncomfortably. "Eh...maybe," she said.

"Tell me where," Evan asked.

"No way! I know what you are thinking about doing. You are gonna go and harass the poor girl," Lily shook her head.

Evan walked over to Lily and gripped her shoulder. "Tell me where," he demanded to know again.

I had to interject at this point. He was out of control. "Dude, chill out!"

"Please, Lily. If you ever cared about me, you'll tell me," Evan said.

"Alright! Gosh! She works at the little candle store by the beach. Now let go of me!" Lily squealed.

"Thanks," Evan exhaled and let go of her then went inside the car to cool off.

"Lily what the hell, why did you tell him?" I said. "You know he is just going to make her more upset."

"I am sorry! He scares me. His feelings for her are too intense. I should know," Lily said bitterly.

"What is it? Why did you come here?" I asked nervously as I met him behind the building.

Evan looked at me intensely for a few moments then smashed his lips on mine. My mind wanted to push him away but my body responded the way he wanted it to. How predictable. I parted my mouth and let his tongue explore it. He tasted sweet.

No...I need to stop this.

I pushed him off as I came to my sense. "Evan, what the hell? You can't keep doing this to me," I said frantically.

"And you can't keep lying to me and yourself, Annie. You still love me, I feel it every time I kiss you," he declared.

"Please just stop," I held back tears.

"If you don't become mine I'll force you if I have to," he looked at me with such emotion it made my heart ache.

"We are not in high school anymore. You can't force me to become anything," I said firmly. I couldn't act weak anymore.

"I know," he said quietly. He moved closer and backed me up against the wall. "Remember how it felt when I touched you?" he whispered.

I remember it all too well. My body still heats up in awareness when I think about it. "Evan please," I pleaded. My voice was barely a whisper.

"I let you go once. Do you think I can let you go again? Well, I can't," he started to place small kisses on my jaw and my neck.

I gave in. My love and desire for him were too strong. I didn't care if this was wrong or irrational and toxic. I wanted him. It has always been him. I closed my eyes.
