"Get up," I said to her and then went to Hailey. Reno went home and I took Hailey to the car.
I also checked the box. Everything was mixed inside it now. All the boxes were broken or opened inside it. I threw it.
I took her home and then to our room. She woke up after some hours.
Hailey's POV
My head was paining very badly as I opened my eyes. Where am I?
Oh, it's my house.
I mean, Robert's house.
Robert...
Who was that girl?
W-Why was she kissing him?
But why am I getting jealous? Why the hell is this happening? I hate him. I hate him for making my life a disturbing mess. I hate him for what he did.
But at the same time, I also have to heal him.
Because I vowed to help anyone in trouble.
I am a doctor.
I looked to my side and found Robert sitting and looking at me.
Tears automatically welled up in my eyes. I am just so hurt, and the irony is that I don't even know why is it so.
I don't like him and I don't have any feelings for him, then why?
Why does it matter if he kisses someone?
"Hailey?" he asked.
"Why are you here?" I asked directly.
"You fainted"
He isn't ashamed, right?
For being caught cheating on his wife.
Yeah, wife seriously?
"Oh, sorry for disturbing you and your girlfriend," I said. He looked at me with confusion.
"I don't have a girlfriend," he said.
I decided not to answer that. There is no use in arguing with him anyway.
He left the room without any word, to which I am very thankful.
This is the time.
Don't show that you are angry.
Show him that you still care and make dinner for him.
If you start now, you are gonna finish by night.
I get up and keeping my weeping heart aside, I started making the food again.
Hailey's POV
I went to the kitchen and started preparing the food again. Ron brought all the raw items once again and Robert already left, I guess.
I fell down due to back pain and a tear escaped my eyes.
"R-Robert, w-why did you...?" I asked him almost crying, not able to bear the pain.
"You don't need to know that," he said and started going.
"R-Robert, can you p-please give me a j-jacket," I said. He turned and smirked.
"Why?" he asked.
"M-my top is t-torn," I said.
"Well, that would help you in whoring around," he said and chuckled. "Bye," he said and started going.
No, I can't stay like this, I am really not going to my room like this.
"R-Robert please" I begged.
He turned around. "I should shut your mouth," he said and took out a bottle.
It was some liquid.
"This will make you remember that I did this to you," he said and opened the bottle. It was... olive oil.
Shit.
"N-No, P-please R-Robert, I-I beg you, s-stop," I said. He smirked.
He then held my shoulders with his hand, made me stand, and then spilled the whole bottle of olive oil on my burn.
The skin started burning more and now I know it is not gonna be good any soon.
I fell down again as the tremendous pain hit me. "Take this!" he yelled and threw his jacket on me. I quickly covered myself and my lord's mercy, I made it to my room.
