Even though I wanted to become a legal doctor, I can't pursue my dream anymore. I had asked him about that once, and he turned me down well. Even though he has changed since then, but I think he remembers that business is not what I always wanted to do and that I have some other dreams which I wanna achieve. 

Anyway, I was happy to get out of this house and finally get back to work. I made a simple ponytail and wore simple formal clothes. I made my way downstairs and saw him leaning against the couch. 

"Hey" I called him and he looked up and smiled. "Breakfast?" I asked. 

"Well, from tomorrow" he answered me and I sat beside him. "You can make it from tomorrow. Now the time is much better, isn't it? Otherwise, you had to make it in the pretty morning" 

"Haha, I remember..." I trailed off really remembering everything that happened when I made food for him. 

"Hey..." He said and kept a hand on my shoulder. "I know... That..." he said. 

"It's okay. It is in the past" I consoled him, which looked more like self-consolation. 

"Good. Now let's eat" he said and the cook served our food, which we ate happily. It was again as delicious as always. 

"Come down, I'll wait" he stood up and I was still eating. "In the car" 

"Okay, Robert" I replied, and flashing a smile, he left the room. 

I ate the remaining breakfast, and celebrating over the newly found happiness, I went downstairs and sat on the passenger's seat beside him. 

The trip to his office was good and comfortable, even if we didn't speak anything. 

Every time, the uncomfortable silence made everything worse. Guess it's better to open up and just relax. 

"We're here" I heard him and I looked up to the familiar building.

I got out of the car with him and followed him inside, making sure to say hi to anyone I come across. 

I was in his office right now, because he was 'personally' explaining to me whatever has happened in all these days when I was absent. 

"So, make sure this deal--" 

"Robert" I interrupted him. "Really anyone can explain all this. You are wasting your time" I said and he sighed. 

"I wanna spend time with you and by this, I am also doing work" 

"No, you're not. You would have managed so much till now" I said and got up from the seat where I was sitting across him. 

"Hailey... I don't wanna trouble you anymore" he said and got up too. "Only Xander knows everything other than me and he is not very friendly"

"I don't want very friendly people to explain everything to me, Robert. I just need a little bit of information and I can gain other details by the time" 

"Okay, Hailey. Then go and do your work. And yes, I have a task for you. From now, you need to convince some clients that backed off because of the loss we recently faced" 

"Okay" 

"I will provide you with the email addresses myself--" 

"But--" 

"All the best," he said and opened the door. 

We entered inside and I could see sweat beads forming on my forehead. I don't wanna ruin this. 

I looked at the client. He is Ray Haffner. One of the clients that I have persuaded this morning only. 

We sat down and I explained our entire plan. I was a little scared, but when everyone understood every word I said, I guess, I was confident. 

I completed the presentation like a pro and I could hear the claps. 

Robert clapped for me first and then Mr. Haffner joined. 

"Well, the plan looks substantial and congratulations, I am ready to invest and sign the contract," he said and Robert looked at me and smiled. 

We gave him the papers and he signed. 

"Pleasure doing business with you," Robert said to him. 

"Likewise," he said and left the room. 

I sighed as he left the room and looked at Robert. He suddenly pulled me close and started kissing me like crazy.
