"Want to see a cool trick, princess?" He hummed between kisses, his mouth never leaving my throat.
"I-I don't know," I mumbled.
He grinned against my neck and bit down suddenly, not breaking the skin, just enough to make me yelp in surprise. His hands skimmed up my back, holding me as he bit me again. And then all at once, everything went black.

"Wake up."
I jerked awake, my hands shooting out wildly. Dominic laughed heartily, his face leaning over me. I looked around in confusion. I was laying flat on my back, and we were outside an absolutely massive house.
"Cool trick, yeah?" He said quietly, tapping my chin to get my attention.
I felt so dazed, looking around and trying to gauge where the heck I was. "How did you... Where... What?"
"Just wait, sugar. That's nothing in comparison to my other talents," he claimed, helping me sit up. "We're at my home. In the backyard."
There wasn't much out here. Just a grill and a couple reclining chairs, one of which I was laying on. Beyond the few yards of healthy green grass, the woods began. "I'll give you a tour."
By the time we got to the last room, I had essentially forgotten the whole tour. The house was a massive maze of unnecessary hallways and empty rooms for dozens of guests he never had
Dominic smiled genuinely at me before pushing the door open to reveal a gorgeous, spacious room. It had one giant bed in the center of it with plain white bedding on it, and a black wooden frame. The floor was a light tan wood, and there was a fuzzy carpet on the left, near a fireplace and underneath a couch that faced the fireplace. There were two other doors, which he pointed out as the bathroom and the closet.
"This is the master bedroom. And that's it."
I rolled my eyes at him, folding my arms over my chest. "Ha-ha. Very funny. Where's my room?"
He stared blankly at me before snickering, putting a hand on my back as he leaned forward to grab the doorknob. "Right, right. Of course." He shut the door and stared at me for a long moment, before opening it again.
"This is our bedroom."
I was very roughly pushed inside, and I backed away from the Shifter in fear and shock and confusion as he shut the door behind us. "You... You're... And me-"
"Yes."
"But you can't!" I cried.
"I'm the King, beautiful. I can do whatever I want," he said quietly. "Please calm down. I know this is a daunting-"
Instead of answering, he assaulted my neck with open-mouthed, sloppy kisses, his teeth occasionally scratching my skin, making me shudder. "This is going to hurt a little bit, sugar. Just bear with me."
"What's going to hurt?" I asked, my eyes closing as his mouth favored the spot under the corner of my jaw. When he felt me shiver, he smiled softly.
"Found it. Should've guessed."
"H-huh?"
"Your sweet spot, silly. But what's going to hurt is me marking you."
Using all of my strength, I pushed him up and off of me. "You are not marking me!" I gushed. "And you haven't chosen me!"
"Caroline, stop it. It's no use. I want you, and I'm going to have you. Relax so I can mark you, and we can argue after that."
"No!"
I rolled off of the bed, only for him to catch me and push me into the wall. "It may even feel good. I've never heard it done on a human before, but for my kind, after the initial pain, it's pleasurable. Some women are even known to org-"
"Please stop," I whimpered. "I don't want to know. But you don't want me. Once you mark me, you'll see how big of a mistake you made. I'm, like, not a housewife at all. And if you expect me to be, we're going to have major problems. I won't let you lock me away to 'protect' me. I won't let you row me around like a trophy. I will watch a lot of TV and I'll burn your meals and I'm kind of afraid of children and that's not even to mention all my baggage. Carrying your pups will be very hard on me. I'm only seventeen, and I don't want to have kids or be married until I'm at least 25. Plus I'm weak. Your kids will have worse genes and-"
