"Cara, just don't do what I did!" Alfie cheered. "We've done this before, you know what to do!"

Andrew pushed him playfully. "No fraternizing with the enemy!"

My Cara let out a loud sigh and smoothly rolled the ball down the lane. It curved at the last second, only throwing three pins to the ground. On the second go, two more went in. When she sulked back to me, I leaned in and kissed her forehead softly.

"That was a good start! It only gets better from here. Watch, princess," I claimed, squeezing her hand as I picked up my ball.

In three smooth strides, I lifted my arm back and swung downward, releasing the ball from my fingers. It soared down the center of the track, hitting the pins so hard it echoed through the small bowling alley. I spun to give a proud glare to Andrew, who had only knocked half of his pins down, in the second roll, he left only one standing.

"How about that, sugar?" I laughed, picking her up and spinning her around, kissing her face repeatedly. "We're gonna kill them."

I set her on her feet again, just in time for Alfie to spout some sort of challenging remark to her. Alfie was good for her. He was doing his best to make this fun for her too, which I greatly appreciated. I lost whatever he said when I saw a familiar spark glow in her eye. She looked up at me, and I knew exactly what she was saying.

Let's do this.

Cara got her third strike half an hour into the game. I kissed her cheek triumphantly, flipping off the opposing team, who were almost twenty points behind us. I picked up my ball and turned to my girl.

"If I get another strike, I get to kiss you," I told her.

Cara rolled her eyes, but didn't object, sitting back onto her seat. Sure enough, I got a strike, and threw my middle finger at Alfie and Andrew, before striding to my girl. "Come here, princess."

I grabbed her cheeks and kissed her deeply, purposefully making loud noises to piss the two other boys off. Cara managed to push me off of her, giggling softly and wiping her mouth with the back of her hand.

"You can't just wipe away my kisses!" I gasped. "Now I have to do it again."

"No!" She wailed, laughing as she fought me off of her. "It's my turn."

I released her, but not before swatting her bum. "If you wipe my kisses off again, I'll take you over my knee."

"Caroline, come here," I ordered, to which she ignored. Her curiosity was getting the best of her, so I had to pull her against my side. "Who are you?"

The man stepped closer, and I shoved my girl behind me protectively. "Relax, all of you. I just wanted to see if it was true that Alpha Dominic took a human for a mate," he said, his eyes falling to Caroline. "Unfortunately I see it is."

I growled, and Caroline nudged me. "Stop it," she mumbled.

"He's disrespecting us."

"Obviously. Why wouldn't he?" She whispered back.

Andrew moved over to Alfie, standing in front him, while keeping a wary eye on the intruder. He didn't live in this area, that's for sure. His scent was foreign. "She's cute, I'll give you that. But a warning, Alpha."

Caroline glanced up at me, then back to the man. "There are a few packs that aren't too happy with this choice. Fortunately, they wish to keep you as the ruler. But I believe the plans of attack fall on your sweet little pet."
