His Hybrid Mate novel Chapter 7

I prop myself on the floor and grab for the box under the bed. I take a deep shaky breath. It was risky to be cutting in a place full of family. I know they'd hate me, but this is what I turn to. I always have and always will. Even if I try to push it away, it's there. I push it back under the bed and sat up against the bed just as Landon came through the door shutting it.

"Hey mini me." he sits down next to me as I smile at him.

"Hey. What's up." I pull my bracelets down my arm to cover myself.

"Nothing. Bored." he says groaning.

"We could go to the library..." he laughs pulling me up.

"Nah, let go." He grabs my hand as I breath out.

I'm glad he didn't take my wrist. We go downstairs and to his car. It was some expensive car. Th ones them famous people have. Not sure the nave but it was slick black.

"Where are we going?" I ask him. He shrugs.

"Have you ever went someplace other than the library?" Landon ask and I shake my head.

"It was my second home." he laughs as I say that.

"Well, we are going to the arcade. It'll be fun!" he exclaims as we pull up to a movie theater.

"I've never been to one of these." I tell him as his eyes wide .

"Never? Wow have you been living under a rock?" I nod smiling.

"All my life." I tell him laughing.

We get to the arcade. We play or a while and then go for some candy. I was having fun. I wasn't thinking bout anything except this chocolate in my hands.

"Could you explain this 'mate' thing to me?" I ask him as we sit in at a cafe.

It was so cute. The waiters and waitress all wore plaid dresses and I was in love with them.

"Well, it's technically your soulmate.." he trails off as I just stare at him.

"That's it?" I ask

"That's all I know." he replies smiling.

"Did you find yours yet?" I ask even though I did know the answer.

"Yeah, actually I did." he smiled.

"Oh my gosh!! Who?" I exclaimed gushing. He smirks pointing to one of the girls working in the cafe. "Oh my!! She's so pretty."

"Well duh, she's my mate." he says making me roll my eyes.

"Don't get cocky. Weirdo. You're lucky to have her." I tell him as he gasp frowning.

"How was your day?" Landon ask as we get in the house.

"It was fun. Plus you bought me this chocolate goodness." he smirks fluffing my hair.

"Glad you had fun kiddo, I did too."

We reach the gang but Royal wasn't there and it mad me sad. Epically my wolf. I go in the kitchen with my big cookie. I was so happy. I sniffed the air and realize Royal was there.

"Hey Freckles." Royal raise an eyebrow when he sees my big cookie.

"Landon bought the cookie?" he ask as I nod.

"It's good." I remind myself that I'm not a little kid anymore but I love sweets. Its also bad to give me sweets, that's why I wasn't allowed sweets back home.

"Are you okay? Your pupils are dilating." Royal grabs my arm before I could run.

"Come on!! Let's go run up the stairs then slid down with surf boards. I saw them up in the library. Oh look!! That's a toaster machine. I wanna use it, please."

I was beyond hyper. Sugar and I are like 5 hyper children on a playground. Oh my gosh the playground.

"Freckles listen to me. No. More. Cookies." he takes the cookie from my hand as I pout.

"Can you take me I the park, pleaaaasse?"
