I walk in the bathroom ready for today. I felt all panicky and I didn't want to go through with going to school.
"Come on Kiki! Hurry up in there." Levi shouts banging on the door.
"okay, I'm almost done." I shout back putting the razor down. Damn it. I didn't even get time. I put my stuff back in the shoe box and open the door.
"Finally. Now go get ready." he says slamming the door after he pushed me out.
I get to my room and push the box under the bed. I get up and throw on my bracelets. I took deep breaths. I could do it. I put on a black tank top with red skinny jeans and converse.
"Come on Kiki!!" Layla yells.
I take my hair out of the ponytail. I straighter it last night but now it's all curly. I shrug and head down stairs.
"Ready?" Liam ask. I nod.
"Yay! Lets go!" Layla exclaims as we get in the car.
Once we got to the school I found my locker breaking away from the group. I felt so out of place with them. Even though they were my sibling, it felt weird. I never had anyone around me as much as they are around me. I was itching to cut. I shouldn't have left my razor. My scares were healing slowly, but I wanted to do it so bad. I take a book out of my locker and close it.
"Come on Kiki. Time for home room." Levi exclaims taking my arm. I give him a weird look. I would think Layla would act like this.
"Hey Freckles." Royal took me out of Levi's grip and pulled me into his arms.
"Hi." I whisper as he chuckles softly.
"Ready for class?" I shake my head as he holds my hand as we walk to home room.
We get in class and I immediately go to the back. It won't really cause me attention. If you sit in the front everyone will be able to see you. That just brought my anxiety of being here in class. I wanted to go back home and stay in bed.
"Kiki, are you okay?" Layla ask. I nod evening out my breathing.
"You should know by now that something is wrong with that girl." Leah says as she walks into class glaring at me. I look away from her.
"It'll be fine Freckles." Royal puts his hand on my thigh giving it a tight squeeze and he smiles. It sent me off, I loved the feeling. Roman was all jittery and happy.
"Okay." I say softly. I hope this day goes well.
Levi and I had a few classes together. I had a few senior classes with Liam and Royal. We were all going to meet up at lunch, bit I wasn't going to go. I planned on heading to the library.
"Let's get some food." Levi says jumping out his seat.
I shake my head smiling. I was glad he left me behind so I rushed out of the classroom and up to the library.
ROYAL POV.
I haven't seen Nicki, or I like to call her, Freckles since 4th period. She was taking forever to the to the table, and everyone was here.
"Levi! Didn't you have Kiki last period?" Layla asked him. He stopped eating then looked around.
"Fe faid Fe fuz fuming." he said with his mouth full. I frown as he swallows. "She said she was coming. She's probably in the library like the book worm she is."
"To the library." I exclaim as Layla hops up with me and we take off, but not before I grab some food for her.
I know she didn't eat so I'll have to feed her. I can't have my mate not eating. As we get in the library her scent hit like a ton of bricks and I smile. Walking in I looked in each aisle.
"She's at the last one." Layla was already at the last aisle so I jogged over and there was Freckles, inside a book eating.
"Hey Freckles." I wave at her as she smiles closing her book.
"What are you guys doing here?" she looks between Layla and I.
"I wasn't going to leave you here by yourself." Layla exclaims.
"And you gotta eat."
Freckles take the bag from my hands eyes wide and mouth watering. I smile. She can eat.
"Thank you. The turkey sandwich wasn't going to full me." she takes out the foot long sandwich smiling.
"I'm lost.. So what was he doing?" I groaned. I can't believe she didn't catch on.
"He was jerking off with that hand. Like all over his dvck!! " I exclaim to her as her eyes widen and she begins laughing. She turns to Liam and laughs. All he could do was blush and glare at me. Layla unlocks the doors and pass the key to me.
"You're driving." Layla says. I widen my eyes.
"Why am I driving?" I ask.
"You are in the driver seat, aren't you?" Liam smirks at me and I frown. I have drove. Before but not for a while.
"Well, okay. It's y'all funeral." I says putting the in drive. Getting out of the school was easy. Keeping a steady pace was the worst.
"Damn it. Kiki you missed the turn." Levi exclaims. I nod not being able to say anything.
"Turn there." Leah says from the bak a I turn.
"Why'd you listen to her?!! Now we going the worng way" Liam exclaims. I stop the car suddenly and everyone jerks forward except for me and Layla. She saw it coming.
"Look. Shut up okay. I don't know how to fuckin drive so if the lord help me I won't drive the car in to the fucking bridge." I tell them turning back around in my seat and taking deep breaths.
"You go girl. Show them who's boss." Layla whispers as I smile.
The ride was quiet except for Layla tellin me where to go. I was glad or that because I swore I was growing gray hairs just from driving.
"Sorry for pressuring you little sis." Levi said messing with my hair. I smile nodding.
"I'm not. You told my secret." Liam exclaim as I stick my tongue out at him.
"With your hand smelling like that it isn't a secret." I tell him as he just laughs walking in the house.
Royal grabs my hand smiling at me. It made me feel warm inside every time he smiles. It seems like he always smile around me.
"Let's take a walk."
