That night I rolled around in the attic room because my wolf was very restless. It was like she was pacing around in my head non-stop. "What is wrong with you?" I said irritably to her. She growled at me, "Heat." That was the only thing I heard before I felt really uncomfortable, it was mating season. I jumped up from my bed and started pacing the room, slowly developing into a slow jog to hopefully shake off the uncomfortable feeling. Caleb went back into his room because I told him my wolf was restless and I didn't want any guy company right now. Once I calmed down enough, I sat on the bed. "Well shit, heat and mating season. What am I going to do?" It happened every year and I never really cared much but now I had a mate and I'm definitely going to be on the radar. I will be sitting in my room, dying, it's the only thing I can think about right now. I dropped myself on the bed and groaned loudly.

"What is my life!?" I shouted into my pillow. "Damn heat, stupid werewolf shit." I shouted again. Suddenly, I felt someone touch my shoulder and I screamed bloody murder; my eyes connecting with someone else's. "God. Woman. Stop it. I know I'm attractive but stop hitting me." His husky voice said. I stood up on the bed so that I towered over him. "You? Attractive?" I said and gagged. He tried to look to the side and then nodded. "You know what you should do since it's mating season?" Caleb said with a certain twinkle in his eyes.

"No, get away you pervert." I said, waving him off. "No. We all know that sooner or later, we'll be mated anyways." I wrinkled my nose and glared at him. "I'm not a virgin." I lied. He started laughing, tears of joy running welling up around his eyes.

"Very funny." I said gloomy. "You're a bad liar." He said still laughing. "Yay, take my sorrow and turn it into joy. I'm such a laughing stock." I said sarcastically, glaring at him. He stopped laughing and looked at me. "Okay, let's mate. I'm ready." He said and started taking off his clothes. My eyes widened and I ran to the bathroom door. "What the hell dude! Oh shit, okay, naked man. Put something on!" I said throwing him a towel. Caleb groaned and put on his shirt, turning around to leave.

My heart started beating so fast and I started sweating all over. My hands were itching to wrap around her neck and throw her as far away from Caleb as possible but I held myself back. My legs were itching to run and I only had the window to run out. I looked out the window again and saw the ground that looked quite hard. I had to do it. I didn't know why but I kept running away from things like this. It was clear that Lindsay had wanted me to get jealous and have an argument with Caleb. I thought through the few days we spent together, he would actually try to love me. He would stop playing around but I lied to myself big time. He was still making out with her, he never even pushed her away. Didn't he feel my presence in the room? Wasn't I standing here, right in the room where he was making out with my sister? I looked out the window again and jumped out of it without thinking. Before I could land on the ground, I transformed into my wolf. My white paws thudding to the ground as I landed not-so-gracefully on the ground.

After I jumped out of the window, I ran into the forest and looked at the open window. It was still open and it was like nobody noticed my appearance or disappearance. I looked at the window one more time and then ran into the woods. I was running when I felt pain in my back legs. It started from my back legs, travelled to my thighs and then to my stomach. I skidded to a halt, rolled forward and hit my face in the dirt. I keeled over as the pain from my stomach went to my chest then to my front legs. Transforming back into my human and clutching my abdomen, I started screaming. I couldn't do it, I couldn't keep the pain in. It was all too much, too painful. I cussed out loud as the muscles in my stomach jerked and the pain increased.

I felt black spots blur my eyesight as I shouted in pain. I closed my eyes so hard that I could see white spots everywhere. I was panting and I couldn't breathe as the pain closed around my lungs like someone was constricting my windpipes. I couldn't scream anymore because I couldn't breathe and my throat was on fire. I've been screaming so much that my throat was raw. I stopped screaming as I tried to breathe. Inhale, Exhale. I said to myself in my head. I kept repeating that in my head as I tried to do the same but I couldn't do the same so I fainted.
