Innocent or Not novel Chapter 2

"Alright, Sir. Hi, I'm Rose Dart student council President !" She took her hand out ready for a shake and Lia noticed Rose's freshly painted nails. Her mother never let her paint her nails.

Lia blushed a deep scarlet red before shaking Rose's hand a little too aggressive making the Headmaster chuckle. "H-Hi! I'm Lia Andrews it's nice to meet such a pretty girl." Lia greeted but felt more embarrassed. Rose giggled as they stopped shaking hands. Rose grabbed Lia's schedule and examined it.

"Lucky you Lia! You have some of my classes and you have the first period with me. The bell for the first period rings in five minutes so let's find your locker and then I'll take you to class." Rose smiled as they started exiting the office.

Lia felt a little nervous and prayed she didn't have to speak in front of the class. She was scared when people would stare at her. "Hey, Rose. Gonna come to the arcade today?" A girl says as she walks near Rose making her giggle softly.

"You know it, Ellie. Hey, meet Lia Andrews she just transferred today!" Lia blushes as she plays with her fingers.

"H-Hi it's nice to meet you." The girl named Ellie looked sweet. Her long blonde hair in a low ponytail and her pink dress made her so gorgeous. But looks can be deceiving.

Ellie smiles as she nods her but doesn't acknowledge her making Lia frown. "Let's chat later." That was all Ellie simply said as she walked away. Rose shrugged slightly and they soon stopped at a locker.

Lia could feel her excitement of having her very own first locker. She even squealed when she opened it making Rose giggle at the girl. She was purely adorable.

Lia soon somehow felt uncomfortable as she felt a gaze on her. More like a gaze that gave her incredibly strong goosebumps. She turned around and her eyes landed on dark black eyes piercing in her gray and black eyes. She didn't know why the boy was looking at her like that but whatever it was she didn't want to be mixed with it.

She walked away with Rose but still felt the gaze at him.

When they got to class, nervousness laced Lia as she felt the whole class looking at her. Like she said before she hated when people would stare at her. "This is Lia Andrews. She transferred from which school?" Ms.Gowan asks. She was a much older lady probably in her forty's.

This was gonna be something new and Lia was here for it all.

Ms.Gowan continued her lesson about the new inventions and Lia was dying to leave. With Ace constantly staring at her she felt small and uncomfortable. Lia grazed her finger on her paper and a small paper cut formed.

Lia hissed and watched the little blood pour out. "Here let me see," Ace asked but it was more of an order making Lia confused as ever.

She slowly showed Ace her paper cut and he simply used tissue and covered it. Then he gave her kisses over her little finger making Lia blush uncontrollably. "U-um Ace?" She whispers making Ace look up at her. "I-I think it's all good now." She smiles softly as she snatched her finger out of his grasp.
