CHAPTER 76

GLENDALE

NARRATOR'S POV

Lindy’s mother stares at Lindy and she has been for her own daughter to be going through that same pain again caused by Harry. She is worried but she knows how Lindy loved Harry and even if she stops Lindy, she knows her daughter will still go to Glendale and take the risk on last time for the man that her heart beats for.

"Are you really sure about this honey?" Lindy's mother asked her with concerned eyes.

Lindy nodded as she grabbed her bag and hang it on her shoulder. "Zayn has booked a flight for me to Glendale and I'm going to see Harry, mom. I need to make sure he's okay. They told me how he has been acting so strange on tour."

"You will get hurt again.” She tells Lindy and reminding her the unavoidable pain that could happen.

“And I told you young lady that you're not allowed to see him." Her father interrupted.

"I know.” Lindy answers. “I know I will get hurt and I know you warned me dad but I love him. I love him so much and I still worry about him despite the things he caused me."

Her mom smiles, “Then go for it, Lindy.”

“Thank you mom.”

Her dad stares at her sternly and he does not want his daughter to see the man who denied her to the entire world when they were still dating. No matter how much he tries to tell her, he just knows she won't listen.

"I can't just sit here and listen to them saying he's not okay. I'll be fine. Just for one last time, I want to check on him. I don’t hope for something anymore, I just want to tell him to take care of himself.” Lindy answers.

“You can tell him on the phone, Lindsay.” Her dad warns her.

Lindy sighs, “Dad I know what I am doing. Please just trust me. I will be fine.” She smiles.

"Then let's go to the airport before you miss your flight." her mother exclaims.

They drove her to the airport on an early Saturday morning for her flight to Glendale where the lads jsut arrived. Lindy was anxious of what is going to happen when she gets to Glendale and she was unsure if this was really what she wanted to. She knows she wanted to see Harry and she does not expect for them to rekindle their relationship but she just wants to check on him after being told that Harry has been ill for the past days.

Deep down inside her, she wanted to talk things with Harry and make a closure so she can move on from the pain and she can finally forgive him and let go of the hurting that he caused her.

Meanwhile, the lads have arrived in Glendale and rushed to the hotel quickly. Harry has been feeling a little bit well and e was finally getting a whole lot better. He knows he had to somewhat move on and try to forget the pain that he has been trying to void which was not very successful.

"What time will she arrive?" Niall asked.

"Probably before noon." Zayn answered.

Harry overhears their conversation and decided to join in. "Who's arriving?" Harry asked while eating a banana.

Zayn and Niall stared at each other, looking guilty. They were surprised that Harry is talking to them and looking like he was back to normal. Zayn shifts on his seat while Niall tried to look cool.

"A friend that I knew back in the day. It's good to see you eat Harry." Zayn changed the subject.

Harry smiles tightlipped, "I'm doing well now. A little bit fine."

He has been getting back to his senses and had finally accpeted the fact that he can never ever patch things up with Lindy but he was still hoping. Harry knows how he has been treating the band and the entire crew after his bad break up with Lindy and he knows he has been hard to deal with the past few days and felt bad for even treating them that way.

Harry gazed at the four lads who were busy doing their own stuff. "Guys.”

They all turned their attention to Harry, the crew and the band who were in one big room.

“I am really sorry about these past few days. I was not being myself. I was getting the entire thing in my head and I ruined myself over one bad break up. I know I worried everyone nd treated everyone pretty badly and I am so sorry for everything I said and I did.” Harry says shyly.

Zayn smiled, "It's alright Hazza. We understand you man."

“Do not mind it Harold. We know what you were going through.” Niall adds.

Liam stared reluctantly at Harry but still managed to smile, “You did a huge sacrifice.”

Harry tries to smile.

“You saved the entire band.” Louis adds.

“It’s… nothing.” Harry answers before he excused himself and left the big room.

Liam and Louis glanced at each other before looking back at Niall and Zayn who looked shocked with what just happened. "What's up with him?" Louis asked.

"He said he's doing well now. And I think it is good. I mean he is already eating so I think it is practically good." Niall answers.

Louis’ brows creasing, “It is good but…it is kind of weird to seeing him being all better.”

Liam smiles, “I am just happy he is all better.”

"How about Lindy?” Niall chimes. “Where is she now?”

"She just texted me and she's on her way to Glendale." Zayn answered.

“Lindy.” Zayn calls out making her turn her attention to him. “He did that because he had a reason to and you have to hear it straight from Harry.”

“You need to talk.” Niall adds.

“Harry hasn't been himself lately. He needs you." Liam blurted.

"And we know what he did to you was wrong. We know he hurt you but he didn't mean to say those stuff. He didn't want to hurt you. He was just forced." Zayn added.

Lindy pressed her lips together and knows that Harry had told her that the management had force him to do it but why would he allow the management to control him? Why was he not able to fight for me? What was he so scared of? Was he too scared to lose his fame? Was he too scared to e kicked out from the band? Why did he let people dictate what he wants?

Zayn reached for Lindy’s hand and held it tightly. She slowly pulled her head up and stared at him as he tells her, "He loves you. He fucking does."

"Isn't he dating Paige?" she asked with a doubtful look.

"Hell no.” Louis answered quick. “He only has his eyes on you and no other woman would be prettier than you in front of Harry's eyes. Trust me he has been shitty these past few days.”

Lindy smiled at herself as Louis adds, “Show him Niall.”

Niall grabbed his phone out and showed how Harry was singing the familiar song he wrote for her. She recognized the song as she watches a crying Harry looking all devastated as he sings the lines. She realized that he had managed to finish the song and had finally made an arrangement for it but it was breaking her heart seeing how Harry is crying while playing the piano and singing with his voice cracking because he was literally crying on the piano chair in the empty arena.

"Please forgive Harry. He needs you now more than ever." Niall adds.

"I love Harry too. But… I don’t know will I ever forgive him." Lindy answered.

“You have to listen to him, love.” Louis tells her.

“Why can’t you just tell me about it?” Lindy asks.

“Because it is better if it is Harry who will tell you.” Liam answers.

“Does he know I am here?” Lindy asks.

“Not yet.” Louis responded. “We wanted to surprise him that you are here.”

Zayn nods vigorously, “He has been very much on the edge. Please, talk to him and listen to what he has t say. Please.”

“Fine, I will talk to him.” She responded and got a positive cheer from the four lads who seemed all happy and excited that Lindy will be giving Harry a chance for him to explain his side of the story without holding back anything.

But, where is Harry?
