Tiana fell from the second floor and directly to Conor's arms.
The huge impact forced him to take a step back. The pendant hanging on his wrist snapped in a flash and flew away, sliding on the ground for a long distance.
Conor looked in the direction of it, and panic flashed across his face for a moment.
But very quickly, he retracted his gaze and firmly hugged her in his embrace.
Tiana closed her eyes. After a while, she did not feel any pain and opened her eyes.
Conor hugged her tightly with a hint of anger on his face.
"What the hell are you doing?"
He snapped.
Tiana raised her head, and said blankly: "I was looking at the sculptures on the stairs..."
"And then directly fell from above? Or are you tired of living? "
Tiana looked at him. If not for Conor, she would have definitely broken bones by now.
"No..."
"I just don't want to see you dead in my house. I can't explain it to your parents."
With a cold face, Conor put her down.
Just as her feet touched the ground, Tiana was so weak that she could barely stand. She fell forward and threw herself into Conor's embrace.
Conor only looked at her coldly, not extending his hand out.
Tiana held his arm, and leaned close to him. Her face was slightly flushed. She managed to stand still with much difficulty.
"I'm sorry..."
Conor glanced at her, then turned and walked towards the broken pendant.
Upon seeing the pendant break into two halves, he frowned and his face fell.
Tiana immediately walked over and saw him pick up the pendant from the ground.
It seemed to be a photo necklace.
A heart-shaped picture frame hung from a silver necklace, in which were usually photographs of loved ones.
But now, the necklace had been broken into two pieces. The frame had been knocked into a concave shape, making it impossible to open.
Tiana was slightly surprised. This must have fallen out when Conor was trying to save her.
It's definitely especially important to him as he brought it with him all the time.
Tiana almost bumped him, and only managed to stop.
"Mr..."
"You can repair it?" Conor interrupted her with a cold voice.
Tiana gasped for breath heavily.
"Ye...Yes."
Conor turned and stared at her.
Tiana was immediately nervous. He seemed to try to see through her.
Her hands were clasped behind her back, and she was sweating with nervousness.
Conor suddenly handed the necklace over to her.
"Then I'll let you try."
Tiana carefully received it, and just as she was about to carefully look at it, Conor threatened her: "If you break it a little..."
He did not finish his words, but the threat in his tone made everyone tremble.
Tiana immediately became nervous. When she raised her head again, Conor had already left.
