Tiana flipped the necklace on her hand.
The frame's lock could not be opened.
She looked at the closed door of Conor's room, carefully put away the necklace, and then ran back into the room.
There were no tools in the room. Tiana went out again and asked Tomas for a toolbox for repairing cultural relics. She sat in front of the table and carefully checked the necklace.
Her dream was to become a cultural relic restorer, but before this, she had never received any systematic learning.
If she hadn't been sent here, she might have entered a school to study cultural relics identification and restoration.
But now, she should have already missed the time to attend class, right?
Tiana's hands slowly stopped. She forced back her tears.
On the second day, Tomas brought the toolbox over.
"Mr. Johnson said that you can use the study on the second floor."
Tiana looked at the gigantic toolbox, which had all the tools inside.
"The second floor?"
"Yes."
Tiana looked around. This was Conor's room, but aside from the first day she came, Conor had never come back.
A bedroom was not a place to work.
Tiana took the necklace, and carried the box up to the second floor.
Since the last time she had accidentally fallen down the stairs, she had been very careful.
She went upstairs and turned left. There were a lot of rooms on the second floor, but Tomas didn't tell her the specific room.
She thought for a moment, then quietly opened the door a crack and looked inside.
In the large study, a person was sitting at a table, facing her from the side.
Was it Conor?
Tiana hesitated, but he turned around and glanced at the entrance.
"What are you doing?"
Tiana hesitated and wanted to sneak out.
"Come here."
Tiana nervously licked her lips, hesitating for a moment.
Her originally moist lips became redder, while his eyes became darker.
Tiana didn't even notice, and, thinking that he was angry, immediately walked over.
"Mr. Johnson."
Her smooth face was fair and glossy, with a blush on her cheeks and a pair of round cat eyes.
Conor touched her curly hair behind her back.
His hand slid down her back, stopping at her waist. Under slight force, Tiana fell down onto him uncontrollably.
"What are you doing... Oh..."
Just as she opened his mouth, she was stopped.
Conor's gaze was so cold. He used one hand to hold her waist and the other to hold her chin in place.
He kissed her lips.
