Remy wasn't convinced. "If you truly wanted to, there's no such thing as something that can't be given away."

The two old men started arguing. But Brandon ignored them and kept his eyes on the baby bathing area. Soon after, the nurse came out carrying the baby after her bath.

Brandon reached out to take her, but the two old men immediately tried to crowd around. He blocked them. "You shouldn't stare too much. She will have nightmares with both of you staring like that."

Micah and Remy were at a loss for words.

Brandon walked away with the baby while they followed closely, trying to get another glimpse. But he wouldn't give them a chance.

"Congratulations!" Logan, standing nearby, congratulated Brandon, who was holding the baby.

Brandon beamed with pride. "It's a girl. Take a look."

Logan leaned in to gaze at the tiny baby in his arms. She was pink and soft, and even though she was so small, Logan could see she had beautiful eyes. The baby was asleep.

Her eyelids fluttered slightly, melting everyone's heart.

"Logan, you should hurry up. Having a daughter is wonderful," Brandon said as he walked away with the baby.

He carried the baby back to the delivery room. Lisa had already tidied me up. She glanced at him. "Why did you bring the baby here? The nurses can take care of her. You should be looking after your wife right now."

"It's fine. Besides, your nurses aren't exactly reliable," Brandon replied.

After the pain of childbirth, I was completely exhausted and weak. He placed the baby beside my pillow and said, "Honey, look, our daughter is as beautiful as you."

Remy and Micah had been right in their argument earlier—the baby had features resembling Brandon and me.

"Honey, thank you." Brandon kissed my cheek.
