"Want us to go for a walk?" I asked after we had finished eating. Nodding his head yes. We got up and made our way onto the streets of Paris. Walking along the roads, I did some window shopping, pointing out stuff that I thought would look good on Adam who was seriously not interested in any of them. Rolling my eyes because he was such a buzzkill, I was about to give up when I saw someone renting bikes. Taking his hand, I ran while dragging him along. We made it over to the guy. Paying him for two bikes, I went on mine, but Adam was staring at the bike looking at it as if it was a foreign object.

"It won't bite Adam, you can go on it." Looking at me then back at the bike, he had this weird look on his face and that's when I knew something was terribly wrong. "What's wrong Adam?" I asked with concerning lacing my voice.

"I-I can't ride a bicycle Emily," he spoke softly.

"What you mean by you can't ride a bicycle," I asked dumbfounded.

"I never own a bicycle and I never went on one before hence I can't ride one."

"So, no one taught you?"

"No one did." He had a sad look on his face before it disappeared and I felt sorry for him. clearing my throat, I spoke up.

"Would you like if I teach you?"

Nodding his head yes, I told him to get on his bike. Coming off mine, I gave the man back the one I had before I went up to him and told him how he should set himself and where he should put his hands and his feet. Holding to him, I guided him as he began to pedal. It was a bit awkward at first, but he began to catch on. We went on for an hour before we got tired. Returning to the man, we returned Adam's bicycle before we ventured into a nearby café. Ordering coffee and a sandwich we sat before we began to eat and joke. Licking my lips, I saw Adam's face take on a lustful look.

Licking my lips once more to rile him up, I saw that he got up and took my hand. Bringing me out of the café, we hurriedly walked back to the hotel and into his room.

Adam Pov

"Finally, you got dressed," I said to Emily as soon as she sat down. Pouring herself a glass of orange juice, she took a sip and made herself a plate before she spoke.

"I'm so tired Adam. If it wasn't for the meeting, I would've stayed in bed the entire day." Taking a bite of my strawberry, I replied to her.

"You can skip the meeting if you like." Shaking her head, no, she ate the food that was on her plate before she wiped her mouth with the napkin that was provided. Putting down the newspaper that I was reading on the table, I got up with the contracts that I had printed last night after Emily had fallen asleep. Taking up my briefcase, I placed them inside before we exited the room together. Going inside the elevator we made our way down to the lobby then outside. while walking up to the car, Emily bumped into a man and when she did, she fell to the ground. Cursing out asshole, I helped her up and she briefly glances at the man before she turned around back to go inside the car but as soon as her head turned, she wiped it back around so fast that I thought it would've made a three sixty. She was staring at the man curiously and I wanted to ask her who it was but I was waiting until we entered the car as I didn't want for us to be late.
